SELAMA pandemi Covid-19, pemerintah memberikan kelonggaran kepada minimarket atau toko modern yang sudah habis masa izinnya. Kelonggaran berupa diperbolehkannya swalayan tersebut tetap buka atau beroperasi.
Semestinya, ada puluhan minimarket yang harus tutup karena izinnya habis.
Kelonggaran akan dicabut jika pandemi virus Corona sudah berakhir dan situasi normal kembali.
“Kalau izinnya habis sebelum masa pandemi ya tetap harus tutup. Kelonggaran diberikan untuk minimarket yang izinnya habis saat pandemi Corona,” jelas Kepala Satpol PP Sukoharjo Heru Indarjo, Rabu (4/11/2020).
Dikatakan Heru, secara keseluruhan ada 152 toko modern yang izinnya habis di tahun 2020 dan 2021. Rinciannya, 151 toko modern izin operasionalnya habis tahun 2020 dan satu toko modern izin habis di tahun 2021.
Khusus tahun ini, ada 89 toko modern yang izin operasionalnya sudah habis dan telah menutup usahanya. Penutupan toko dilakukan karena izin habis sebelum muncul pandemi virus Corona.
Toko modern yang mendapat kelonggaran, ujar Heru, jumlahnya ada 63 toko modern yang tersebar di sejumlah kecamatan di Sukoharjo.
Heru mengungkapkan, kelonggaran tersebut diberikan pemerintah pusat mengingat dampak pandemi virus Corona sangat besar dirasakan terhadap perekonomian masyarakat.
“Pemerintah memberikan kelonggaran kepada toko modern untuk tetap membuka usahanya. Kalau ditutup, dikhawatirkan akan menambah keterpurukan ekonomi dan meningkatan pengangguran,” kata Heru.
Kebijakan kelonggaran ini, ujar Heru, tidak hanya di Sukoharjo saja, melainkan juga berlaku di berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Nantinya, setelah kondisi kembali normal, maka aturan penutupan tetap diberlakukan sesuai aturan yang ada.
Di sisi lain, toko modern wajib menaati protokol kesehatan seperti menyediakan tempat cuci tangan, memakai masker, serta jaga jarak.***
