PANDEMI Covid-19 adalah masalah kesehatan yang melanda dunia saat ini. Keadaan di luar prediksi ini telah membawa perubahan yang signifikan di berbagai sektor kehidupan.
Perkembangan virus dengan cepat menyebar luas di seluruh dunia. Indonesia pun masuk dalam keadaan darurat nasional. Angka kematian akibat Corona terus meningkat sejak diumumkan kali pertama. Banyak negara memutuskan untuk menutup sekolah dan universitas.
Hal tersebut memicu perubahan dan pembaruan kebijakan di bidang pendidikan. Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) menerbitkan Surat Edaran (SE) Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Pencegahan Corona Virus Disease (Covid-l9) pada Satuan Pendidikan, yang menyatakan bahwa meliburkan sekolah dan universitas.
Anjuran pemerintah untuk stay at home dan physical and social distancing harus diikuti dengan perubahan modus belajar tatap muka menjadi online atau pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ).
PJJ diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan ini, sehingga peserta didik dapat terus belajar walaupun dari rumah. PJJ adalah pendidikan formal berbasis lembaga, yang peserta didik dan pendidiknya berada di lokasi terpisah, sehingga memerlukan sistem telekomunikasi interaktif untuk menghubungkan keduanya dan berbagai sumber daya yang diperlukan di dalamnya.
Kemajuan dunia teknologi komunikasi dan informasi memunculkan peluang maupun tantangan baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Peluang baru yang muncul adalah adanya akses yang lebih luas terhadap konten multimedia dan berkembangnya metode pembelajaran baru yang tidak lagi dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu.
Di sisi lain, kemajuan teknologi dengan beragam inovasi digital yang terus berkembang juga menghadirkan tantangan baru bagi penyelenggara pendidikan untuk terus menyesuaikan infrastruktur pendidikan dengan teknologi baru tersebut.
PJJ hendaklah memenuhi kriteria-kriteria: (1) PJJ haruslah memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna bagi peserta didik, tanpa terbebani tuntutan menuntaskan seluruh capaian kurikulum, kenaikan kelas maupun kelulusan; (2) PJJ haruslah memfokuskan pada pendidikan kecakapan hidup, antara lain mengenai pandemi Covid-19.
Selanjtnya, (3) PJJ dilaksanakan dengan variasi aktivitas dan tugas pembelajaran dari rumah antarpeserta didik, sesuai minat dan kondisi masing-masing, termasuk mempertimbangkan kesenjangan akses/fasilitas belajar dari rumah; (4) Dalam pelaksanaan PJJ, pendidik memberikan umpan balik terhadap bukti atau produk aktivitas belajar dari rumah yang bersifat kualitatif dan berguna bagi guru, tanpa diharuskan memberi skor/nilai kualitatif.
PJJ dapat dibagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) dan pembelajaran luar jaringan (luring).
Pembelajaran daring adalah pembelajaran yang menggunakan model interaktif berbasis internet dan Learning Manajemen System (LMS). LMS adalah istilah global untuk sistem komputer yang dikembangkan secara khusus untuk mengelola pembelajaran online, mendistribusikan materi pelajaran, serta memungkinkan kolaborasi antara pendidik dan peserta didik.
Adalah (Bimbingan Belajar) Bimbel Kubus, juga menyelenggarakan bimbingan online. Berlokasi di Dukuh Jambangan, RT 14/RW 5, Desa Karangpelem, Kecamatan Kedawung, Kabupaten Sragen, bimbel yang diinisiasi oleh Elis Roifah, salah satu anggota Dharma Wanita Sekretariat Daerah (Setda) Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Sragen ini fokus pada pembelajaran matematika untuk jenjang SD, SMP, dan fokus baca untuk jenjang TK.
“Sudah dapat tugas dari bu guru?”
“Belum, Mbak, lha LKS-nya belum ada.” Jawaban serupa dilontarkan oleh beberapa siswa lain.
Ada cerita lain, salah seorang siswa SMP sambil menyodorkan handphone yang berisi materi catatan matematika dari guru.
“Kamu paham maksudnya? Bisa mengerjakan soalnya?” tanya “Tidak Mbak” sembari tersenyum.
“Selama PJJ, ada beberapa siswa bisa memperoleh banyak tugas, target harian, pembelajaran via Zoom, video dari gurunya. Sebaliknya, ada siswa yang tidak demikian,” cerita Elis.
Menyikapi kondisi itulah, Bimbel Kubus memantapkan diri menjadi bimbel online agar kesempatan belajar dan akses siswa bisa merata.
“Walaupun gratis, kami berusaha memaksimalkan apa yang kami bisa, dengan pembelajaran berupa video penjelasan. Akan ada bonus video Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Arab,” terangnya.***
