Kendal-Inspirasiline.com. Kebakaran terjadi di Swalayan Aneka Jaya, yang berlokasi di Jalan Soekarno-Hatta Kota Kendal, Senin sore (11/7/2022).Sedikitnya tiga unit mobil pemadam kebakaran Kendal diterjunkan untuk mengamankan.
Menurut, Ria Ristianasari Kasi Ops Damkar Kendal mengatakan, kejadian dilaporkan kepada pihaknya pada pukul 16.00 WIB. “Di lantai tiga sedang ada pengerjaan untuk bioskop dan gerai cepat saji. Diduga api dipicu dari aktivitas pengerjaan tersebut,” jelasnya.
Ria menyebut, api masih membesar di lantai tiga. Namun menurutnya masih ada dua orang yang terjebak, karena tidak ada tangga evakuasi. “Kita masih mencoba untuk evakuasi korban yang terjebak. Diduga ada dua orang yang terjebak di lantai tiga,” imbuhnya.
Wakapolres Kendal, Kompol Edi Sutrisno yang berada di lokasi, saat memimpin pengamanan dalam pemadaman membenarkan kabar satu korban meninggal dalam kejadian kebakaran. “Korban di lantai tiga, tidak bisa keluar, karena di belakangnya api sudah membesar,” terangnya.
Wakapolres mengaku, saat ini belum diketahui apakah korban merupakan karyawan atau pekerja pengerjaan di lantai tiga. “Asap memang sudah pekat, korban ditemukan luka bakar di pojok ruangan di lantai tiga,” ungkap Kompol Edi.
Korban kemudian dievakuasi oleh petugas Damkar Kendal dibantu tim BPBD Kendal, kemudian dibawa ke RSUD Dr Soewondo Kendal. Pemicu terjadinya kebakaran yang diperkirakan terjadi pukul 16.00 WIB tersebut masih dalam penyelidikan petugas Polres Kendal.
Sementara dari sumber di lokasi, korban meninggal dunia diketahui bernama Patmono, 42, warga Kedungpane Semarang. Api berhasil dipadamkan sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB. Satu orang dikabarkan meninggal dalam kejadian tersebut. (Eko)
