BEBERAPA desa di Kabupaten Blora tengah menggalakkan program penghijauan. Selain untuk memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan, diharapkan hasilnya bisa untuk meningkatkan perekonomian warga.
Kepala Desa Padaan, Kecamatan Japah Sri Mulyono mengatakan, dengan menggunakan Dana Desa (DD), pihaknya mengadakan bibit buah-buahan yang terdiri atas 100 bibit buah sawo jumbo dan 200 bibit buah kelengkeng.
“Kondisi lahan kami sangat cocok untuk ditanami buah kelengkeng dan sawo. Kami akan bagikan 300 bibit ini untuk warga, ditanam di halaman masing-masing dan dirawat baik-baik, hasilnya bisa menjadikan desa kami sentra buah-buahan, terutama kelengkeng dan sawo,” ungkap Kades Padaan Sri Mulyono, Jumat (19/3/2021).
Sementara konsep berbeda diterapkan di Desa Ngiyono, Kecamatan Japah. Di desa ujung utara yang berbatasan dengan hutan itu, kepala desa setempat menggerakkan penanaman bibit buah jambu kristal, jambu air, dan durian musang king, dipusatkan di satu lahan yang disewa dari Perum Perhutani KPH Mantingan.
“Kami akan tanam dalam satu area persilan saja, biar dikelola oleh Karang Taruna kami. Jadi tersentral dan fokus pelaksanaannya. Kalau dibagikan perawatannya kurang, jadi tidak maksimal, karena cita-cita kami, juga ingin jadi sentra buah-buahan, seperti durian, jambu kristal, dan jambu air,” papar kades yang juga mengelola situs religius Makam Dalang Sigit Soponyono, yang banyak diziarahi warga luar Blora.
Desa lain di Kecamatan Japah yang juga tengah menggalakkan penanaman bibit buah-buahan adalah Desa Sumberejo dan Bogem, serta puluhan yang lain dengan pilihan bibit yang sama, disesuaikan kondisi tanah setempat.***
