Polres Tegal Kota melaksanakan Vaksinasi Merdeka Anak yang telah dicanangkan Kapolri dengan menggelar vaksinasi bagi anak usia 6 -11 Tahun di sejumlah sekolah. Salah satunya di SD Pelita Harapan Bangsa, Kraton, Kecamatan Tegal Barat Kota Tegal, Kamis (06/01/2022)
Kegiatan yang melibatkan Tim Kesehatan Polres Tegal Kota ini diikuti oleh puluhan anak-anak kelas 1 hingga kelas 6 yang belum mengikuti vaksinasi. Sebelumnya sejumlah anak telah mendapat vaksinasi yang digelar Pemkot Tegal di kawasan Alun-alun Kota Tegal
Sementara itu, kegiatan yang sama juga digelar serentak dibeberapa sekolah lainya. Sejumlah personel TNI-Polri turut diterjunkan bersama petugas kesehatan baik dari Dinas Kesehatan maupun Puskesmas setempat.
Kapolres Tegal Kota melalui Kapolsek Tegal Barat Kompol Aris Heryanto, S.H pada saat pemantauan pelaksanaan vaksin di SD Pelita Harapan Bangsa menyampaikan, bahwa kegiatan vaksinasi massal dengan sasaran anak usia 6-11 tahun pada hari ini adalah sebagai tindak lanjut dari kegiatan vaksinasi secara serentak di seluruh tanah air yang sudah di launching sejak kemarin Rabu, (5/1/22) dan dipantau langsung oleh Kapolri secara Virtual Zoom Meeting.
Menurut Kompol Aris, bahwa vaksinasi untuk anak usia 6-11 tahun sangat penting dilaksanakan. Selain anak menjadi pendukung terciptanya herd immunity, saat ini juga sudah mulai dilaksanakan pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM).
“Kita saat ini fokus memvaksin anak-anak usia 6-11 tahun, selain untuk menciptakan herd immunity juga untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran tatap muka yang saat ini sudah berjalan. Namun juga tetap melayani vaksinasi untuk orang dewasa, baik untuk vaksin dosis 1 maupun vaksin dosis 2 bagi masyarakat Kota Tegal,”pungkas Kapolsek.
