MENYIKAPI kasus kematian pasien Covid-19 yang terus meningkat tajam, sejumlah anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Sragen mendesak Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) dan instansi terkait cepat menangani pasien Covid-19.
Data yang dihimpun inspirasiline.com, Senin (12/7/2021), kelangkaan oksigen dan keterbatasan kamar perawatan ICU menjadi salah satu faktor yang memperburuk kondisi, sehingga membuat banyak pasien tak tertolong.
Ketua Fraksi Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (FPKB) DPRD Sragen Fatchur Rahman mengatakan, hampir tiap hari mendapat keluhan warga yang mengalami sesak napas kritis dan gagal terselamatkan karena tidak tertampung di rumah sakit (RS), akibat terbatasnya jumlah kamar.
“Tiap hari kami disambati orang sakit dengan keluhan yang sama. Sesak napas yang sudah parah. Dibawa ke rumah sakit sudah penuh,” ujarnya kepada inspirasiline.com, Senin (12/7/2021).
Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Sragen Sugiyamto menyampaikan, mayoritas pasien mengeluh kondisinya sudah agak parah.
Melihat fakta di lapangan, Sugiyamto mendesak Pemkab segera mencari stok oksigen. Semua rumah sakit rujukan dan semua Puskesmas harus diberikan stok oksigen yang cukup, sehingga masyarakat yang membutuhkan bisa segera tertolong.
“Sebab saat ini mayoritas yang sakit keluhannya sesak napas dan membutuhkan bantuan oksigen segera,” bebernya.
Legislator dari Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP) itu menjadi PR bersama supaya kerja cepat, bagaimana mencari stok oksigen di semua fasilitas kesehatan (faskes).
Kedua, segera tambah ruangan di RS agar bisa menampung pasien Covid-19.
Anggota DPRD lain, Bambang Widjo Purwanto berharap, Pemkab dan Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) segera melakukan penambahan kamar dan pemenuhan oksigen.
RS juga diharapkan bisa cermat melakukan triase atau seleksi terhadap pasien yang masuk dengan gejala Covid-19, sehingga bisa diputuskan mana pasien yang dapat aman menunggu dan mana yang kondisinya parah dan harus segera tertangani. Dengan begitu, kematian pasien karena antre ICU tidak semakin banyak.
Meski demikian, Bambang Widyo Purwanto dan anggota DPRD lain mengapresiasi perjuangan para tenaga kesehatan (nakes) dan semua pihak yang tanpa lelah berjuang memberikan penanganan kepada pasien Covid-19.***
