Sukoharjo-Inspirasiline.com. Merespon adanya informasi yang beredar tentang paguyuban yang mengajak pengrajin tahu untuk mogok karena tingginya harga kedelai, Kapolres Sukoharjo AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan melaksanakan pemantauan ke produsen tahu di Dusun Kranggan Etan, Desa Wirogunan, Kecamatan Kartasura, Senin (21/2/2022).
Dalam pemantauan tersebut, pembuat tahu dan tempe di Kecamatan Kartasura, Kabupaten Sukoharjo memutuskan untuk tidak ikut-ikut mogok produksi.
Salah satu produsen tahu, Eko Purwanto, mengaku dirinya juga mendapatkan ajakan untuk mogok produksi.
Ajakan itu didapatkan melalui pesan berantai melalui WhatsApp (WA). Namun sebanyak 20 produsen tahu dan tempe di kampungnya memutuskan mengabaikan ajakan itu.
“Kita gak ikut karena kita masih ketergantungan kedelai impor, kita demo dan mogok produksi percuma saja. Selain itu, cicilan juga masih banyak,” katanya.
Kenaikan kedelai pada awal tahun ini merupakan harga tertinggi, yang pernah ia alami. Produsen tahu dan tempe harus membeli kedelai impor hampir Rp11 ribu per kilogram.
“Kami mohon kepada pemerintah agar kami dibantu, sehingga harga kedelai normal lagi. Jangan malah naik terus,” ujarnya.
Eko menambahkan, untuk mensiasati kerugian, para produsen memperkecil ukuran tahu, agar produsen tetap mendapatkan untung.
Dia menjelaskan, untuk mengalihkan bahan baku dari kedelai impor ke kedelai lokal sangat tidak mungkin. Sebab, stok kedelai lokal dipasaran tak bisa mencukupi kebutuhan para produsen.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Sukoharjo AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan, memberikan semangat kepada pengrajin tahu untuk tetap produksi.
“Karena tahu dan tempe merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok, saya ucapkan terimakasih kepada para pengrajin yang tidak ikut mogok produksi,” pungkasnya. (Prie)
