Kendal-Inspirasiline.com. Atlet taekwondo Kendal, berhasil meraih 14 medali emas, 21 medali perak dan 38 medali perunggu dalam Kejuaraan Nasional Moks Open Taekwondo 2022, di Gedung Olahraga (GOR) Jati Diri Semarang 29-30 Oktober 2022.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Ketua Taekwondo Indonesia Kendal, Wibowo Heru, Selasa (1/11).
Wibowo Heru mengatakan, dalam kejurnas, Kendal mengirimkan enam dojang atau klub, dengan jumlah total 75 atlet. Terdiri dari sembilan atlet katagori prestasi, dan 66 atlet katagori festival.
Katagori prestasi, medali emas diraih Janny Cindrawati (under 52 kilogram) dan medali perak diraih Rizqi Fairuz Adya Rafif (under 49 cadet).
Sedangkan medali perunggu diraih masing-masing, Fakhri Khafif (under 54 kilogram senior), Muhammad Ifan Mahrus (under 45 kilogram cadet), Ivanda Aldani (under 46 kilogram), Rasya Abdee Dwi Syaputra (under 68 kilogram) dan Adrian Firmansyah (under 55 kilogram).
“Kita di katagori festival, atlet Kendal meraih 13 medali emas, 20 medali perak dan 33 medali perunggu,” jelas Heru.
Adapun dojang yang mengirim atletnya yakni PPLOPD Kendal dengan pelatih Sabeum Anggriawan, Macan Gunung dengan pelatih Sabeum Nim Sunarto, Ponpes Darul Amanah dengan pelatih Sabeum Nim Sunarto, GTC Kendal dengan pelatih Sabeum Nim Zawawi, Kaliwungu Taekwondo Academy dengan pelatih Sabeum M Yusuf Bahtiar dan G-Stars dengan pelatih Sabeum Sugiyo Hadi P.
“Kejuaraan nasional tersebut dalam rangka mencari bibit unggulan sekaligus regenerasi atlet di cabang olahraga taekwondo harus terus digalakkan. Semoga bisa memotivasi atlet taekwondo lainnya. Untuk bisa berprestasi membawa nama harum Kabupaten Kendal ,”tuturnya.
Sementara Kejurnas Moks Open Taekwondo diikuti 1.700 lebih atlet dari berbagai Provinsi di Indonesia, yang berjuang untuk mendapatkan tempat terbaik dari masing-masing kategori.
Mulai dari pra-cadet dengan usia 5-12 tahun dan cadet dengan usia 13-15 tahun. Sedangkan kategori junior dengan usia 16-18 tahun dan kategori senior berusia 18 tahun ke atas.
Ketua Umum KONI Kendal, Subur Isnadi mengucapkan selamat atas prestasi yang terus diraih para atlet taekwondo Kendal.
“Selamat buat para atlet taekwondo, yang sudah membawa nama harum Jawa Tengah dan Kabupaten Kendal. Terus berlatih dan tetap semangat dalam menghadapi kejuaraan yang lain, semoga ke depan Kabupaten Kendal dipenuhi atlit-atlit berprestasi,”harap Subur.
Sementara itu, salah satu atlet peraih medali emas di katagori prestasi under 52 kilogram, Janny Cindrawati merasa bersyukur dengan pencapaian yang ia raih di ajang Kejurnas Moks Open Taekwondo 2022. (eko)
