Penanganan stinting memang tidak hanya sekedar himbauan tentang pola makan pola asupan dan bahasa bahasa medis lainnya, tapi perlu tindakan nyata.
Jika ada persoalan yang menyangkut hajat orang banyak Pemerintah Kota Tegal langsung menggerakan seluruh stikholder untuk berinovasi menangani permasalahan tersebut.
Himbauan Walikota Tegal Dddy Yon Supriyono pada jajarannya untuk ber inovasi soal penanganan stinting, rupanya cepat di respon oleh Camat Margadana Ary Budi Wibowo yaitu dengan membentuk Gerakan Peduli Stinting melalui program lembaga kemasyarakatan dengan pola Bapak Asuh Peduli Stanting.
Program yang digagas Camat Margadana, Ary Budi Wibowo, yaitu mrmbentukp Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting (BAAS) untuk membantu anak-anak stunting di wilayahnya
Ide yang di gagas oleh Ary soal bapak asuh stanting, di launching oleh Walikota Tegal Dedy Yon Supriyono di Pendopo Kelurahan Margadana.Kamis 20 Juli 2023
Dalam sambutannya Dedy Yon mengatakan bahwa Kecamatan Margadana yang pertama mampu menjawab dengan cepat imbauan walikota.
Wali Kota memberikan apresiasi dan terima kasih sebesar-besarnya atas sinergitas dan kolaborasi dari Camat Mardagana, para staf, serta seluruh komponen masyarakat, dalam upaya percepatan pencegahan dan penurunan stunting di Kota Tegal.
Wali Kota berharap peran aktif seluruh elemen masyarakat di lingkup Kecamatan hingga kelurahan yang menangani program ini harus dapat menjadi garda terdepan dalam memberikan bantuan,
Camat Margadana, Ari Budi Wibowo melaporkan berdasar data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Tegal tahun 2022, sampai dengan akhir tahun 2022, balita stunting di Kecamatan Margadana tercatat 226 balita terdiri dari 186 balita kategori pendek dan 40 balita kategori sangat pendek.
Di wilayah Kecamatan Margadana diperoleh data balita penderita stunting di wilayah Kecamatan Margadana sejumlah 160 anak dengan rincian 119 anak kategori pendek dan 41 anak kategori sangat pendek.
Pola bapak asuh yang menjadi ide dalam penanganan stunting di Kecamatan Margadana adalah melalui peran aktif lembaga kemasyarakatan untuk berpartisipasi langsung dalam penanganan stunting. Bapak asuh akan memberikan bantuan atau donasi pada anak stunting untuk mencukupi kebutuhan gizinya setiap hari selama 180 hari kalender.
Dari hasil koordinasi dengan puskesmas di wilayah Kecamatan Margadana didapatkan data anak stunting yang membutuhkan intervensi langsung yaitu anak stunting dengan status gizi buruk dan gizi kurang sejumlah 52 anak, dengan rincian 38 anak di wilayah Puskesmas Margadana dan 14 anak di wilayah Puskesmas Kaligangsa.
Dari 52 balita tersebut, setelah dipilah terdapat 35 balita yang berasal dari orang tua dengan kategori tidak mampu. Sehingga fokus gerakan ini kepada 35 balita tersebut.
“Sampai dengan hari ini kami sudah mendapatkan 14 bapak asuh uang memenuhi pentahenix yang akan mengampu 35 balita stunting tersebut di atas,” ujar Ary.
Perwakilan dari bapak asuh anak stunting tersebut hari ini juga menandatangani komitmen bersama sebagai bentuk pernyataan tanggung jawab atas keberhasilan gerakan peduli stunting di Kecamatan Margadana Kota Tegal.
Ary juga menjelaskan, di wilayahnya telah dibentuk kelo mpok masyarakat, yang bertugas menyediakan makanan bergizi bagi 35 balita stunting yang menjadi sasaran program ini dengan menu yang telah mendapatkan rekomendasi dari ahli gizi di Puskesmas Margadana dan Puskesmas Kaligangsa.
Bersama dengan tim percepatan penanganan stunting tingkat kelurahan, mereka akan bekerjasama menyediakan dan mengantarkan makanan bergizi bagi balita stunting serta memastikan bahwa balita tersebut menghabiskan makanannya.
