BUPATI Sragen Kusdinar Untung Yuni Sukowati mendorong anak muda atau milenial untuk tidak alergi dengan pertanian. Pasalnya, prospek pertanian di era milenial yang dikerjakan dengan teknologi sangat menjanjikan.
Orang nomor satu di Bumi Sukowati itu bahkan mendorong anak muda untuk meminati pertanian. Sebab, sudah ada beberapa contoh anak muda Sragen yang sukses menekuni pertanian.
“Kemarin di Kaliwedi, Gondang, ada anak muda, masih mahasiswa namanya Mas Gilang. Dia nyambi budidaya melon dengan konsep green house dan bisa sukses. Sekali panen bisa menghasilkan puluhan juta rupiah. Kemarin kami dikirimi, melonnya manis sekali, enak banget, dan itu luar biasa,” ungkapnya saat berkunjung ke kebun buah SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung, Sragen, Jumat (28/5/2021) pagi.
Yuni, panggilan akrab Bupati Sragen menyebut potret sukses budidaya pertanian milenial juga bisa dilihat di SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung. Sekolah dengan areal terluas se-Asia Tenggara itu, memiliki kebun buah yang produktif dan menghasilkan banyak varian buah.
Ada kelengkeng, jambu, durian dengan berbagai varietas. Dan keunggulan yang dimiliki kebun buah milik SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung ini, menurutnya, merupakan potensi yang luar biasa dan bisa dikembangkan.
“Ya, tadi kami sempat melihat-lihat kebun. Ternyata banyak buah macam-macam. Makanya kami mengajak anak muda milenial yang ingin belajar wirausaha pertanian, silakan sekolah di SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung Sragen. Di sini bisa belajar wirausaha, belajar bertani, lulusan yang siap kerja, dan sekolah vokasi,” ujar Yuni.
Kader PDIP ini meyakinkan, dengan menekuni pertanian milenial, akan mendidik wirausahawan yang mampu berdiri di kakinya sendiri atau berdikari.
Terkait kesiapan SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung menuju ajang Adiwiyata Mandiri Nasional, Yuni menyatakan mendukung penuh. Karena hal itu akan membawa nama besar SMK Sragen ke tingkat nasional.
Sekalipun SMK pengelolaannya menjadi tanggung jawab provinsi, tapi keberadaannya tetaplah menjadi bagian keluarga besar Sragen.
“Kami support penuh,” tandas Bupati Yuni Sukowati.
Dalam kunjungan itu, Yuni sempat meninjau unit produksi roti dan kebun buah. Kunjungan itu digelar di sela gowes bareng jajaran SKPD.
Usai kunjungan, Bupati Sragen dan rombongan melanjutkan agenda gowes menuju Kantor Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Sragen.
Kepala SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung Budi Isnanik mengapresiasi kunjungan Bupati Yuni Sukowati dalam mendukung upaya sekolah yang dipimpinnya menuju Adiwiyata Mandiri Nasional.
Menurutnya hal itu merupakan tindaklanjut program SMK Mbangun Desa yang sudah diluncurkan beberapa waktu lalu.
“Harapannya semua bisa berjalan lancar dan pada akhirnya bisa dapat penghargaan Sekolah Adiwiyata Mandiri Nasional. Nanti kelanjutannya di tingkat ASEAN,” terangnya.
Budi Isnanik menjelaskan, persiapan untuk Adiwiyata Mandiri Nasional sudah dilakukan sehak jauh hari. Untuk penyusunan dokumen-dokumen juga sudah dilakukan beberapa bulan lalu.
“Ini tinggal menunggu saja. Mudah-mudahan berhasil,” tandasnya.
Sementara terkait kebun buah, Budi Isnanik menyampaikan, ada beberapa macam buah yang ditanam di kebun sekolah. Terutama kelengkeng super jenis itoh, jambu kristal, salak kombinasi pondoh dan Bali, serta durian maupun anggur ninel.
Yang paling banyak dan menjadi andalan adalah kelengkeng, karena pohonnya banyak dan buahnya kualitas unggul.
“Panen besar kelengkeng nanti masih bulan Juli. Harganya Rp 35.000 perkilo. Ini semua dikelola oleh unit produksi usaha sekolah. Nanti hasilnya masuk ke RKAS, selain dana BOS dan BOP,” bebernya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Budi Isnanik juga menyelipkan sosialisasi terkait Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) 2021/2022 di SMK Negeri 1 Kedawung, yang menyediakan program semiboarding bagi siswa tidak mampu yang pintar dan berdomisili jauh dari sekolah.
“Ini untuk tahap pertama, kami sediakan 30 kuota. Nanti akan bertambah jadi 40, mungkin ke depan sampai 100,” terangnya.***
