Peringatan Hari Bakti Pekerjaan Umum ( PU) ke-76 merupakan momentum, bagi Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kabupaten Sragen, dalam menunjukkan kinerja terbaik dalam membangun Negeri. Kegiatan Hari Bakti yang jatuh pada hari ini, Jumat (3/12/2021) lalu mengambil tema Bangga Infrastruktur Negeri Sendiri
Rangkaian peringatan Hari Bakti PU 2021 tingkat Kabupaten Sragen kali ini, dipusatkan di Bendung Karanganom, Desa Karanganom, Kecamatan Sukodono. Untuk itu, DPUPR Sragen turut menggandeng pemuda setempat untuk bersama mewujudkan desa tersebut menjadi desa wisata Selo Karang.
Kepala DPUPR Kabupaten Sragen, Marija yang ditemui Inspirasiline.com di Ruang Kerjanya Senin (6/12/2021) menyampaikan peringatan Hari Bakti PU 2021 ini dipusatkan di Bendungan Karanganom, Sukodono karena terinspirasi para pemuda karangtaruna di Dukuh Karangnom yang menginisiasi Desa Wisata Selokarang. Bahkan tempat ini sudah dikondisikan sedemikian rupa menjadi objek wisata alam yang menarik.
“Kami menyambut baik. Aset Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Sragen dapat dikelola dengan aset milik warga setempat untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat Karanganom,” Ungkap Marija
Dikatakan, Sebelumnya Karang Taruna Karanganom datang ke DPUPR untuk mengajak bekerja sama memanfaatkan Bendungan Karanganom sebagai objek wisata atau desa wisata.
“Kami setuju untuk memprogramkan bersama-sama antara DPUPR dan masyarakat. Dengan pembukaan wisata baru itu, maka kondisi bangunan bendungan lebih bermanfaat dan bisa terjaga supaya umur bangunan lebih lama kuatnya,” ujarnya.
Dengan menjadikan bendungan tersebut sebagai objek wisata, diharapkan pemuda Karanganom juga harus merawat dan menjaganya.
“Bendungan Karanganom mampu mengairi lahan pertanian seluas 487 hektare. Dengan pemeliharaan yang baik maka bendung itu bisa berfungsi maksimal. Kami akan mengecat bendung supaya lebih menarik untuk dikunjungi wisatawan,” Ungkap Marija menjelaskan
Menurutnya, desa wisata Selo Karang ini punya potensi besar untuk dikembangkan. Sehingga kedepan lokasi ini juga bisa dikembangkan menjadi wahana outbond sehingga diperlukan peralatan pendukung, seperti jalan lingkungan, penataan pohon, hingga taman.
Sumber di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika ( Diskominfo) Sragen) mengatakan, Hari Bhakti PU ke 76 jum’at ( 3/12/2021) itu diawali dengan apel pagi bersama, dilanjutkan dengan penyerahan bantuan kas karangtaruna dan sembako warga kurang mampu dari DPUPR Sragen. Selanjutnya, bantuan fasilitas umum toilet bagi pengunjung Desa Wisata Selo Karang dari PMI, UMKM dari Baznas, dan bantuan 300 bibit pohon ketapang dari Pengembang Sukowati.
Selain di Desa Karanganom, rangkaian kegiatan juga dilakukan ditempat lain, diantaranya penyerahan bantuan bedah rumah di Kecamatan Sambungmacan, kerja bakti membersihkan sedimen saluran di depan Yappenas, dan membersihkan sampah di Bendungan Klenteng. (Sugimin/17)
