Menkumham memberikan potongan tahanan bagi penghuni lapas yang memiliki kriteria tertentu
Seperti pada peringatan HUT RI Ke 79 Menteri Hukum Dan hak Azasi Manusia Republik Indonesia telah mengeluarkan surat keputusan Nomor PAS-1216 PK.05.04 Tahun 2024 tentang pemberian remisi umum termasuk kepada 262 Warga Binaan Lapas kelas II B Slawi. Dari jumlah penerima remisi tiga orang diantaranya bebas langsung setelah mendapat potongan tahanan.
Penyerahan surat keputusan remisi dilakukan oleh PJ.Bupati Tegal Agus Setyarsah di lapas Slawi Sabtu 17 Agustus 2024. Penyerahan SK yang dilakukan sesuai upacara peringatan HUT RI disaksikan anggota forkopimda dan sejumlah pimpinan OPD di Kabupaten Tegal.
Dijelaskan oleh pj Bupati Tegal pemberian remisi merupakan bentuk penghargaan dari pemerintah kepada warga binaan yang berlaku baik selama menjalani hukuman Harapannya kepada peroleh remisi dua atau yang bebas langsung mereka kembali ke masyarakat tidak akan mengulang perbuatan yang melanggar hukum bahkan diharapkan mereka bisa menjadi agen perubahan perilaku yang baik bagi masyarakat.
‘ secara keseluruhan yang dilakukan oleh lapas Slawi sangat baik, karena mereka tidak hanya menerima hukuman tapi mereka di didik dengan berbagai ketrampilan bahkan setelah didalam tahanan mereka bisa membaca
Alquran yang sebelumnya sama sekali tidak bisa baca tulis Al-Qur’an. Terkait dengan pemberian ketrampilan bupati minta alat atau peraga perbengkelan dan sebagainya harus lebih baik supaya mereka lebih percaya diri.
Bupati berharap dengan momentum peringatan hari ulang tahun RI yang bertema menuju Indonesia maju, titiknya bukan Di IKN, tetapi titiknya ditarik ke belakang ke daerah kabupaten dan kota
‘ kalau kita sudah berbicara masalah kabupaten dan kota tentu tentu kaitannya dengan Indonesia maju, berbicara masalah sumber daya manusia. Untuk meningkatkan SDM di daerah tentu menjadi tanggungjawab kita termasuk anggota forkopimda dan mita aoan bangga jika warga binaan jumlahnya sedikit dan kita akan bangga jika BNN tidak direpotkan masalah narkoba.’ Papar Agus Sulistyarao. Bupati juga menyerahkan kenang kenangan kepada anak binaan yang bebas langsung.
Pada kesempatan yang sama kepala Lapas Slawi Karyono berharap kepada warga binaan yang mendapat remisi dua akan kembali ditengah masyarakat mengembalikan nama baiknya dengan ikut serta selalu berpartisipasi dan berperan aktif dalam kegiatan di wilayahnya.
Dijelaskan warga binaan yang jumlahnya 365 didominasi kasus narkoba dan yang mendapat remisi 262 orang, tiga diantaranya bebas langsung . Selama menjalani hukuman mereka mendapat binaan kerohanian melalui pengajian rutin dan menciptakan kemandirian sehingga setelah mereka bebas punya ketrampilan.
Dijelaskan Ketrampilan yang diberikan diantaranya perbengkelan otomotif, las, perikanan , tenun pertukangan pertanian Lapas Slawi juga memiliki kebun pisang carvemdis seluas 1 hektar. (Biet)
