SESUAI dengan Peraturan Presiden Nomor 3 Tahun 2018 tentang Pejabat Daerah dan Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 91 Tahun 2019 tentang Penunjukan Pejabat Sekda lebih dari 3 bulan akan ditunjuk oleh Gubernur yang berasal dari pejabat tinggi pratama di lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi.
Pelantikan Budi Santoso sebagai Penjabat Sekda Sukoharjo dilakukan di lobi ruang bupati, Senin (7/12/2020) pagi, dihadiri oleh kepala OPD dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan.
Dalam kata sambutannya, Bupati Sukoharjo Wardoyo Wijaya menyampaikan bahwa tugas dan fungsi Sekda adalah melaksanakan urusan pemerintah daerah dan membantu bupati dalam menyusun kebijakan.
Oleh karenanya, Bupati Wardoyo Wijaya berharap agar Penjabat Sekda yang baru dilantik segera menyesuaikan diri dan mengambil langkah-langkah strategis untuk menjalankan roda pemerintahan di Sukoharjo.
Bupati memberikan apresiasi kepada Widodo yang telah menyelesaikan Pj Sekda selama 3 bulan dengan baik dan lancar.
Sementara Budi Santoso usai dilantik sebagai Penjabat Sekda kepada wartawan mengatakan, setelah dilantik dirinya akan all out 24 jam untuk membantu Bupati Sukoharjo dalam segala hal.
Ada beberapa pesan gubernur bahwa dirinya harus membantu bupati dalam penyelenggaraan roda pemerintahan, utamanya dalam administrasi dan tidak kalah penting bahwa Sukoharjo yang masih zona merah Covid-19.
Gubernur Ganjar Pranowo berpesan, bantu Sukoharjo untuk menurunkan status zona merah, syukur bisa mengembalikan untuk bisa masuk ke zona hijau.
Gubernur Ganjar Pranowo juga titip pesan kepada Penjabat Sekda bahwa Kabupaten Sukoharjo termasuk 21 daerah kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Jateng yang akan menyelenggarakan pilkada.
Untuk itu, Pj Sekda diminta mengawal Pilkada Sukoharjo agar bisa berjalan lancar dan sukses.
Tercatat, DPT Sukoharjo pada Pilkada 2020 sebanyak 660 487, yang tersebar di 12 kecamatan.
Karena Kabupaten Sukoharjo masih dalam kekosongan jabatan Sekretaris Daerah, Gubernur Ganjar Pranowo juga minta agar proses seleksi Sekda dikawal dan dalam waktu 3 bulan harus selesai.
Pj Sekda Budi Santoso juga menyampaikan bahwa untuk melaksanakan seleksi calon Sekda harus mendapat izin dari Mendagri.
Gubernur Ganjar Pranowo menargetkan, Maret 2021, Sekda definitif sudah harus dilantik.***
