PEMERINTAH Kabupaten (Pemkab) Tegal salurkan 100 dus makanan bergizi, masker, dan obat-obatan kepada sejumlah santri melalui organisasi Rabithah Ma’ahid Islamiyah (RMI) Kabupaten Tegal.
Bantuan tersebut merupakan sumbangan dari anggota Komisi IX Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI) Nur Nadlifah pada momentum peringatan Hari Santri Nasional (HSN) 2020. Bantuan diterima langsung Bupati Tegal Umi Azizah di rumah dinasnya, Kamis (22/10/2020) malam.
Umi mengatakan, masa sulit akibat pandemi Covid-19 yang sudah berlangsung lebih tujuh bulan ini membawa dampak di berbagai sektor, termasuk di kalangan santri yang masih terus menuntut ilmu.
Menurut Umi, tidak semua pondok pesantren (ponpes) memiliki kemampuan yang sama dalam mencegah penularan Covid-19, termasuk peningkatan daya imun lewat asupan makanan dan minuman berigizi.
“Saya rasa, pemberian bantuan pangan, masker, dan vitamin ini sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan sekaligus daya imun, terutama mereka para santri dari keluarga tidak mampu. Dan momentum Hari Santri ini bisa menjadi sinyal penguat kepedulian kita pada kehidupan para santri sebagai penjaga nilai-nilai akidah umat Islam dan tradisi kebangsaan Indonesia. Adapun penyaluran bantuan ini kepada para santri, saya titipkan lewat kawan-kawan RMI Kabupaten Tegal,” kata Umi, yang juga seorang santri lulusan Ponpes Mambaul Ma’arif, Denanyar, Jombang, Jawa Timur.
Pada pertemuan yang berlangsung hangat tersebut, Umi menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada Nadlifah yang sudah membantu warga santri di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini.
Mendapat respons positif dari orang nomor satu di Kabupaten Tegal ini, Nadlifah pun mengaku senang bisa membantu warga santri Kabupaten Tegal.
Terapkan PHBS
Kepada pengasuh, pengurus, dan perwakilan santri penerima, Nadlifah berpesan, agar selalu menjaga kesehatan dan menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di lingkungan ponpes yang aman dari Covid-19.
Menurutnya, pola pembelajaran dan kehidupan santri di lingkungan pondok yang tidak berjarak rentan terjadi penularan virus. Namun, dengan kedisiplinan yang tinggi dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan dan menjaga interaksi dengan orang luar, lingkungan pondok justru menjadi lingkungan yang aman dari kontaminasi virus Covid-19.
“Sesuai dengan tema Hari Santri tahun ini, yaitu ‘Santri Sehat Indonesia Kuat’, harapannya pondok pesantren bisa menjadi garda terdepan, contoh lingkungan pendidikan berbasis asrama yang mampu menerapkan standar minimal protokol kesehatan, seperti penggunaan masker dan mencuci tangan dengan sabun serta menjaga jarak sebagai sebuah kebiasaan baru di kalangan santri,” ujar Nadlifah.
Tak hanya memberikan bantuan pangan, anggota DPR RI dari Fraksi Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) tersebut juga memberikan bantuan 1.000 set alat rapid test untuk membantu tenaga kesehatan dalam melakukan skrining awal pada kelompok rentan hingga kontak erat kasus suspek dan terkonfirmasi Covid-19. Alat tersebut nantinya akan diserahkan kepada Satgas Penanganan Covid-19 Kabupaten Tegal.***
