OlehHAMPIR sepanjang tahun 2020, kehidupan Usman –sebagaimana yang juga dialami seluruh penduduk dunia— seolah benar-benar penuh nestapa. Hari-harinya berasa suram. Nyaris tak ada tawa, apalagi canda-canda yang membahana seperti biasanya.
Langkah dan gerakan Usman serba terbatas. Ke mana-mana seperti dalam keterbelengguan. Padahal dia driver trailer angkutan alat berat. Kalau sekadar menjelajah seantero Jawa, boleh dibilang merupakan makanan sehari-hari.
Kini, rutinitas itu seakan berubah total. Mulut Usman yang biasa kebal-kebul dengan asal rokok kretek legendaris, sekarang mesti dibungkam masker. Gawean juga tak sederas biasanya, saat sebelum pandemi Covid-19.
Sebagai manusia biasa, Usman jelas sangat merasakan “takdir massal” ini. Bagaimana tidak? Penghasilan menurun, tapi pengeluaran justru semakin deras. Urusan makan dan biaya kebutuhan hidup rumah tangganya sehari-hari, samasekali tak bisa diajak kompromi.
Ya, semua gara-gara Corona. Pandemi yang masih saja menghantui hingga kini.
Gara-gara virus sialan itu, semua dibuat kalangkabut. Dari rakyat jelata hingga pemerintah yang sedang berkuasa. Tentu saja, termasuk Usman di dalamnya.
Wajar saja kalau Usman tak terlalu menggubris kabar santer mengenai 1,2 juta dosis vaksin yang telah tiba di Indonesia. Setelah tahap pertama itu, di tahap kedua, telah tiba lagi 1,8 juta dosis vaksin. Jadi, total sudah 3 juta dosis vaksin dari Sinovac itu yang telah diterima Pemerintah Indonesia.
Kabar itu, semestinya menjadi angin segar bagi penanganan Covid-19 di negara ini. Tak hanya bagi mereka yang terpapar atau terinfeksi, melainkan juga untuk melindungi seluruh rakyat di negeri ini. Tapi tidak bagi Usman.
Usman juga abai tentang kabar yang menyebut vaksinasi bakal dilaksanakan di awal tahun baru 2021 ini.
“Persetan dengan semua itu, Bos. Masih bisa selamat nggak keno Corona wae wis syukur. Meh vaksin opo vaksinasi, kanggone wong cilik koyo aku ngene iki, yang penting bisa tetap makan nasi. Mangan sego mbendino,” cerocos Usman menjawab pertanyaan Bos Mansur, juragannya.
“Lha wong ditakoni rencana tahun baru arep dolan ning ndi kok jawabane malah ndladrah-ndladrah ora karuan to, Lek Us,” tanya Bos Mansur sebelumnya.
Ini sebenarnya merupakan pertanyaan yang wajar dan biasa-biasa saja. Apalagi, Bos Mansur itu tahu kalau selama libur Natal 2020 dan Tahun Baru 2021, pemerintah melakukan pengetatan operasi protokol kesehatan. Di rest area jalan tol maupun di pintu-pintu masuk kawasan wisata, semua dijaga ketat dan diberlakukan rapid test antigen atau swab test antigen secara acak.
Padahal, titik-titik itu merupakan jalur yang biasa dijamah Bos Mansur saat jalan-jalan bersama keluarga, termasuk dengan driver Usman.
“Lek Us, kahanan koyo ngono kuwi jelas bukti yen pemerintah berusaha ngelindungi rakyate, ben sehat kabeh. Ben slamet kabeh. Termasuk onone vaksin lan rencana vaksinasi kuwi,” jelas Bos Mansur “menenangkan” Usman.
Seperti kebiasaannya, Usman tetap ngeyel. Memberi tanggapan sekaligus sanggahan dengan versinya sendiri.
“Nasi, Bos! Sego kuwi vaksin sing paling ampuh kanggone wong cilik. Asal iso mangan sego, wareg, kuwi wis otomatis dadi vaksinasi kanggoku,” tukas Usman.
“Wong kok sing dipikir mung mangaaaan wae. Sing diurusi kok mung weteng thok,” ujar sang juragan sambil meninggalkan Usman di garasi.
Usman diam-diam memanjatkan doa lirih, “Ya Allah, aku juga butuh vaksi[nasi]. Aku butuh vaksin nasi. Ya vaksin, ya nasi, Ya Allah… Aamiin.”***
