JABATAN Bupati Sukoharjo Wardoyo Wijaya berakhir hari ini, Rabu (17/2/2021). Karena pelantikan bupati baru ditunda, Pemprov Provinsi Jawa Tengah menunjuk seorang Pelaksana Harian (Plh) Bupati.
Penjabat (Pj) Sekda Budi Santosa ditunjuk sebagai Plh Bupati Sukoharjo untuk mengisi kekosongan hingga bupati baru dilantik.
Penunjukan Plh Bupati Sukoharjo sendiri tertuang dalam Keputusan Gubernur Jawa Tengah Nomor 131/0002748 tahun 2021 tentang Penunjukan Pelaksana Harian Bupati dan Wali Kota di Provinsi Jateng.
Budi Santosa akan mulai menjabat sebagai Plh Bupati per 18 Februari 2021.
Terkait hal itu, Budi Santosa sendiri membenarkannya. Menurutnya, karena ditunjuk sebagai Plh Bupati, untuk sementara dirinya rangkap jabatan, karena masih juga sebagai Pj Sekda.
Budi mengatakan, hari ini Pemkab menggelar acara pelepasan purnatugas Bupati Sukoharjo.
Seperti diketahui, Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) menunda pelantikan bupati dan wakil bupati terpilih hasil Pilkada 2020 lalu. Penundaan dikarenakan pelantikan akan dilakukan serentak, di sisi lain saat ini sengketa hasil Pilkada di Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) belum selesai.
“Informasinya memang demikian, untuk pelantikan bupati dan wakil bupati terpilih masih menunggu seluruh proses Pilkada 2020 di semua daerah selesai,” ujar Budi.
Menurutnya, sesuai Instruksi Mendagri, Plh Bupati diisi oleh Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) setempat. Namun untuk Sukoharjo, selama ini jabatan Sekda definitif kosong, sehingga diampu oleh seorang penjabat utusan Pemprov Jateng.***
