TEGAL – Wali Kota Tegal, H. Dedy Yon Supriyono menyebut Kemah Sastra dapat menumbuhkan minat baca dan tulis pelajar terhadap sastra melalui workshop penulisan sastra, praktek penulisan sastra hingga lomba penulisan cerpen.
Wali Kota juga menyebut kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Komite Sastra Dewan Kesenian Kota Tegal sudah dilaksanakan secara metodologik dan tidak asal-asalan. “Mulai dari workshop penulisan sastra beberapa hari, dilanjutkan dengan praktek penulisan, endingnya adalah menyelenggarakan penulisan lomba cerpen. Tentu kegiatan lomba penulisan cerpen ini sebagai parameter sejauh mana peserta workshop dalam menerima materi pelatihan. Sehingga penyelenggara bisa mengukur sekaligus melakukan evaluasi kegiatan,” ujar Dedy Yon saat memberi sambutan pada Malam Inagurasi “Kemah Sastra” Workshop Penulisan Puisi, Cerpen, dan Novel serta Lomba Menulis, Sabtu (13/11/2021) malam di Sekretariat Dewan Kesenian Kota Tegal Komplek PPIB Kota Tegal.

Zachira Indah dalam laporannya menyampaikan bahwa maksud dilaksanakannya penyelenggaraan Kemah Sastra Tingkat SMA Se-Kota Tegal adalah untuk menumbuhkan serta menguatkan minat membaca dan menulis, lalu mengembangkan bakat yang dimiliki supaya sejalan dengan misi dari Komite Sastra Dewan Kesenian Tegal.
“Sedangkan tujuan dilaksanakannya Kemah Sastra Tingkat SMA Se-Kota Tegal tahun 2021 adalah membentuk gugus-gugus sastra di setiap sekolah sebagai wadah para pelajar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis dan menumbuhkan iklim gemar membaca dan menulis yang kondusif, memberikan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan pelajar SMA kita dalam memupuk bakat di bidang literasi dengan memberikan ilmu, informasi, dan motivasi yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan di bidang kepenulisan sastra dan sebagai wadah para Pelajar untuk bersilaturahmi dan berinteraksi dengan rekan-rekan sejawat mereka dan juga pihak-pihak yang bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan arahan untuk mengembangkan dunia literasi di Kota Tegal,” ucap Zachira Indah.
Sementara itu Wakil Ketua Dewan Kesenian Kota Tegal Andi Kustomo menyampaikan terima kasih kepada pemerintah Kota Tegal dan apresiasi kepada
peserta Kemah Sastra Tingkat SMA Se-Kota Tegal 2021 yang terdiri atas Siswa dan Siswi Sekolah Menengah Atas di lingkungan Kota Tegal beserta guru pendampingnya. Dari lomba penulisan cerpen yang diikuti semua peserta krmah sastra, diambil sepuluh besar, juara 1,2 dan 3 yang nantinya karya penulisan csrpen tersebut akan di bukikan.
“Adapun yang terdaftar sebagai peserta adalah 55 siswa dan siswi serta 13 guru pendamping, sedangkan peserta Lomba Menulis Cerpen Kemah Sastra 2021 adalah semua siswa SLTA yang tersebar di Kota Tegal dan mudah-mudahan menjadi gugus sastra di sekolah serta menjadi pionir,” ucap Andi.
Malam inagurasi juga diisi oleh masing-masing peserta dengan mementaskan sebuah pertunjukan kecil tiap kelompok dan musikalisasi puisi oleh Dongeng Suket serta Pidato Kebudayaan “Perkembangan Sastra Tegal” oleh H. Sisdiono Ahmad
