Latihan ini program tahunan setiap tiga bulan sekali dan hari ini latihan triwulan IV Tahun Anggaran (TA) 2021.
Dikatakan, dalam kegiatan menembak ini melibatkan Prajurit Kodim 0725/ Sragen, tim Denpal IV/4 Surakarta sebagai teknisi apabila ada kerusakan senjata, tim kesehatan dari Pos Kesehatan ( Poskes) Kartika 25 Sragen dan peserta menembak. Kegiatan Menembak ini akan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari yakni selasa dan kamis. Adapun sikap dalam menembak laras panjang hanya satu yakni sikap tiarap dan sikap berdiri pada menembak pistol.

Komandan latihan Kapten (Inf) Hartadi mengatakan, meskipun ini kegiatan rutin jangan menganggap biasa karena berhubungan dengan amunisi tajam, utamakan faktor keamanan, arahkan Laras pada tempat yang aman, apabila terjadi macet atau kerusakan senjata hubungi tim Pemeliharaan Peralatan (Harpal)

Menurut Sertu Mahmud Y, Senjata laras panjang yang digunakan, senjata FNC Kaliber 5,56 dan untuk Laras pendek menggunakan pistol jenis FN-46 kaliber 9mm jarak 25 meter, sikap berdiri.
Dandim 0725/Sragen Letkol (Inf) Anggoro Heri Pratikno berharap dengan latihan menembak ini prajurit Kodim tetap bisa memelihara kemampuan menembaknya, meski rata rata usia tak lagi muda, selain itu agar para prajurit tidak kehilangan naluri tempur dan tetap semangat berlatih meskipun sering dilakukan
