“Pertama kami kerahkan 1 mobil pemadam dan 1 tangki penyuplai. Tapi karena kebakaran cukup besar, kita tambah lagi 2 truk tangki penyuplai air, “ tuturnya.
Proses pemadaman api membutuhkan waktu cukup lama. Yakni hingga pukul 01.30 Jum’at dini hari (10/12/2021), pemadaman baru selesai.
“Kendalanya untuk menuju TKP, di gang sempit, sehingga mobil Damkar maupun truk tangki penyuplai, agak kesulitan masuk, “ imbuh Wiyoto.
Wiyoto menambahkan, seluruh bangunan rumah dan perabotan ludes terbakar. Nilai kerugian ditaksir sekira Rp 1 Miliar, karena bangunan rumah besar.
“Rumah yang terbakar terbuat dari kayu jati kuno. Yang bisa diselamatkan, menurut informasi dari pemilik rumah hanya 1 unit sepeda motor, “ terangnya.
Sementara itu Kapolsek Lasem, Iptu Arif Kristiawan menyatakan berdasarkan keterangan saksi pemilik rumah, penyebab kebakaran diduga karena obat nyamuk yang diletakkan di bawah tempat tidur.
“Menurut saksi, titik api awal berasal dari bawah tempat tidur, “ terang Arif.
Dalam peristiwa tersebut, warga pemilik rumah berhasil menyelamatkan diri, sehingga tidak ada korban jiwa. (Yon Daryono).
