Rembang, Inspirasiline.com – Kodim Rembang bekerja sama dengan Pengkab Percasi setempat, menggelar turnamen catur tingkat kabupaten. Kejuaraan catur tersebut di helat dalam rangka Hari Juang Kartika (HJK) AD 2021 dan berlangsumg sehari di Gedung Balai Manunggl komplek Kodim, minggu (19/12/2021).
Dandim Rembang Letkol Donan Wahyu Sejati saat membuka turnamen mengatakan, selain dalam rangka HJK, kejuaraan catur ini juga sekaligus untuk mengasah kemampuan para oecatur menghadapi Porprop Jateng tahun depan.
“Jangan dinilai dari besarnya hadiah, saya berharap turnamen ini menjadi salah satu agenda latihan persiapan menghadapi Porprop tahun depan,” ujar Donan.
Donan menambahkan, bersama stakeholder lainnya, TNI akan terus berupaya berada ditengah masyarakat memberi kobtribusi semampunya di segala bidang.
“Hari ini kami berada ditengah-tengah komunitas catur untuk mendorong teman-teman pecatur berlatih,” tandas Donan.
Wakil Ketua Pengkab Percasi Rembang Teguh Indratno di dampingi Ketua Panpel Nuryanto kepada media ini mengatalan, dirinya mengucap terima kasih kepada jajaran Kodim Remvang khususnya pak Dandim yang menggelar turnamen catur.
“Hampir dua tahun kami tidak pernah ada kegiatan turnamen catur. Selain karena dampak pandemi Covid-19, juga terkendala nonteknis. Antara lain soal dana dan keoengurusan Pengkab Percasi yang habis masa jabatannya. Kami baru selesai Muskab petengahan Nopember lalu,” terang Yeguh sambil mengharap agar turnamen di Kodim ini bisa diagendakan secara rutin setiap tahun. (Yon Daryono).
