Seperti di Desa Pedeslohor kecamatan Adiwerna Kabupaten Tegal, kegiatan ruwat bumi dilakukan setiap tahun bertepatan dengan bulan Muharam dan harinya harus Jum at Kliwon dan pada tahun ini, ruwat desa di laksanakan pada Jum at Kliwon 28 Juli 2o23.
” Kegiatan ritual ini memang harus di laksanakan bulan Muharam dan harinya Jum at Kliwon “. Kata Kepala Desa Pedeslohor Sunardi.
Kegiatan ritual ini memang harus dilakukan karena sudah menjadi keyakinan bagi masyarakat setempat sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur, keberkahan dan keselamatan bagi warganya.
Menurut keyakinan warga setempat jika kegiatan itu tidak dilaksanakan konon dikhawatirkan akan terjadi sesuatu.
Selain pelaksanaanya pada hari Jum’at Kliwon, juga harus ada penyembelihan wedus kendit, ciri wedus atau kambing kendit berwarna hitam dan ada warna putih yang melingkar seperti cincin di badan.kambing. Selain itu juga ada gunungan yang berisi hasil pertanian seperti buah dan sayuran.
Prosesi upacara diawali arak arakan gunungan berangkat dari rumah kades menuju makam Mbah Depok, salah satu makam yang dikeramatkan warga setempat. Arak arakan gunungan diawali kepala desa didampingi istri berjalan sampai halaman makam. Secara khusus kades bersama istri berdoa di depan makam yang dipimpin juru kunci makam.
Selesai ber doa kades dan istri duduk bersimpuh di sela sela warga, yang menanti detik detik untuk berebut makanan begitu tahlilan selesai masyarakat langsung menyerbu bakul atau cepon yang berisi nasi dan lauk pauk yang dibawa oleh warga setempat. Masyarakat setempat berkeyakinan siapa yang mendapatkan makanan, kedepan hidupnya tambah berkah.
Kepala Desa Pedeslohor mengatakan, bahwa kegiatan sedekah bumi adalah untuk menghidupkan kembali rasa kebersamaan dan ungakapan rasa syukur kepada Allah SWT.
Kades berharap dengan giat sedekah bumi warganya bertambah berkah, sehat banyak rejeki dan bersama sama membangun desa Pedeslohor. Selesai berdoa di makam Depok dilanjutkan pindah ke makan Kuta. (Biet)
