Prosesi Pengukuhan dipimpin oleh Ketua DPD PHRI Jawa Tengah Heru Setiawan disaksikan Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Pemuda dan olah raga anggota PHRI dan undangan lainnya.
Ketua DPC PHRI Kota Tegal Periode 2025-2030 Joko Patriot dalam sambutannya menyampaikan terimakasih atas support dan dukungan dari teman-teman yang telah mempercayai dirinya untuk menjadi Ketua BPC PHRI Kota Tegal.
” insyaallah saya akan menjalankan amanat ini sebaik-baiknya untuk turut serta memajukan perhotelan dan restoran di Kota Tegal agar semakin maju dan semakin jaya dengan bekal pengalaman saya pada pariwisata dan perhotelan serta ilmu yang saya miliki,” ujar Joko.
Joko berkomitmen akan terus membangun HPRI BPC Kota Tegal untuk semakin bertumbuh di sektor perhotelan dan restaurant dengan berbekal ilmu yang dimilikinya.
“Saya lama 7 tahun di Bandung, kemudian pindah ke Riau, Salatiga menjadi juru masak kemudian ke Dubai dan Abu Dhabi selama 2 tahun dan akhirnya ke Amerika di Kapal Pesiar Holland America Line sebagai second chef de cuisine selama 10 tahun. Dengan bekal itu, teman-teman menunjuk saya untuk bisa turut serta membangun HPRI BPC Kota Tegal di sektor restaurant,” paparnya.
Mengawali program kerjanya DOC PHRI Kota Tegal dalam waktu dekat akan berkomunikasi dengan Disporapar untuk membangun strategi-strategi yang nantinya bisa diharapkan untuk terus menginovasi dengan kebijakan yang sudah diambil oleh pemerintah.
“Karena kebijakan ini sudah diputuskan dari pemerintah, maka upaya lain kita adalah berinovasi dalam bidang atau sektor lain untuk berkolaborasi dan sinkronisasi dengan para UMKM untuk bisa terus menginovasi. Selain kita bisa memaksimalkan di sektor hotelnya juga kita bisa memaksimalkan di sektor kulinernya,” ujar Joko.
Kepala Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) Kota Tegal, Irkar Yuswan Apendi dalam kesempatan itu berharap, dengan kepengurusan BPC PHRI yang baru diharapkan sinergitas, kolaborasi, kerjasama terutama didalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisata. Karena bagaimanapun suatu daerah ketika pertumbuhannya ingin meningkat salah satunya adalah meningkatkan arus kunjungan wisata kemudian dampaknya kepada hotel, restaurant, dan kuliner,” ujarnya.
Irkar menjelaskan salah satu indikator keberhasilan dalam pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata di periode yang lalu kita mengalami peningkatan arus kunjungan wisata ke Kota Tegal. Ini juga salah satu keberhasilan dari PHRI periode lama.
Ikrar berharap kinerja yang sudah dirintis oleh pengurus lama bisa diteruskan oleh pengurus yang baru, karena bagaimanapun dengan kondisi perekonomian kita perlu berkolaborasi dengan berbagai stakeholder terutama dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisata dan ekonomi kreatif di Kota Tegal, Jelas Ikrar.
