SEBAGAI upaya memulai berbisnis dan menjadikan masyarakat berdaya, diperlukan pengetahuan tentang bisnis yang cocok di masa pandemi ini.
Hal itu yang mendasari Program Studi D3 Farmasi Politeknik Harapan Bersama (PHB) menggelar kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bertema “Pemanfaatan Bahan Alam sebagai Produk Start Up Bisnis di Tengah Pandemi” di Kelurahan Panggung, Kota Tegal, Jawa Tengah, Selasa (17/11/2020).
“Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat sekitar dan anggota PKK di Kelurahan Panggung akan memiliki keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan bahan alam sekitar untuk dijadikan produk,” kata Wakil Direktur I PHB Heru Nurcahyo.
Kegiatan merupakan kerja sama antara Pemerintah Kota Tegal dengan Prodi D3 Farmasi PHB melalui Penggerak Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Kota Tegal, didukung LKP Indah serta Kelurahan Panggung Kota Tegal yang peduli terhadap kesulitan masyarakat di tengah pandemi.
“Ini merupakan sinergitas antara Pemkot Tegal dengan PHB sebagai bentuk kepedulian kepada masyarakat untuk merintis alternatif bisnis selama pandemi atau bahkan bisa untuk meningkatkan ekonomi. Kegiatan ini sebagai wujud tindak lanjut dari pertemuan kami dengan Istri Walikota Tegal, Selasa (10/11/2020), ” ujar Heru.
Tim PKM Prodi D3 Farmasi PHB, di antaranya Ketua PKM Heru Nurcahyo, dengan beranggotakan dosen Prodi D3 Farmasi PHB, Joko Santoso, Aldi Budi Riyanta, Sari Prabandari, Rizki Febriyanti, Purgiyanti, dan mahasiswa D3 Farmasi PHB.
“Dalam kegiatan ini kami memberikan pelatihan sekitar 30 anggota PKK untuk membuat produk seperti hand sanitizer dan pasta gigi dari sari belimbing wuluh dan cuka apel, food sanitizer dari biji kopi, pomade dari minyak kemiri, yang diakhiri dengan pembagian doorprize,” tutur Aldi Budi Riyanta.
Aldi menambahkan, kegiatan ini nantinya akan berlanjut ke kelurahan lain di Kota Tegal sesuai arahan dari Penggerak PKK.
“Harapannya juga dapat memberikan nilai secara ekonomi dan kemanfaatan produk di kala pandemi bagi masyarakat Kota Tegal,” ungkap Koordinator PKM Joko Santoso.***
