SATRESKRIM Polresta Tegal berhasil mengungkap kasus pencurian kendaraan bermotor (curanmor) yang terjadi di depan Alfamart Kaligangsa, Kota Tegal, sekitar September 2020 lalu.
Pelaku yang berhasil diamankan, pria berinisial ES (32), warga Gunung Sugih Kecil, Kecamatan Jabung, Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Pelaku diamankan setelah dilakukan serangkaian penyelidikan oleh unit Satreskrim Polresta Tegal.
Kanit Reskrim Ipda Eko Puji mengatakan, sebelum melakukan aksinya, pelaku berputar-putar sekitar wilayah Margadana dan saat tiba di lokasi tersebut, para pelaku melihat sepeda motor yang terparkir di depan Alfamart. Ketika situasi dirasa aman, kemudian para pelaku melancarkan aksinya.
Adapun peran pelaku yang diamankan, dari pengakuannya, yakni ikut melaksanakan aksi pencurian tersebut karena terdesak kebutuhan.
“Pelaku ini berdua bersama temannya, yang satu sebagai pemetik (eksekutor) dan yang satunya bertugas mengawasi keadaan sekitar lokasi,” terang Kanit Reskrim.
Kepada petugas, pelaku mengatakan, barang hasil curian telah dijual, hasilnya telah dibagi berdua, dan dari penjualan barang tersebut digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari.
Sebagai informasi dalam kejadian tersebut, barang yang dicuri adalah sebuah sepeda motor Honda Beat Street warna hitam, dengan kerugian yang ditaksir mencapai Rp 5.5 juta.
Atas kejahatan yang dilakukan, pelaku diancam pasal 363 KUHP, yaitu pencurian dengan pemberatan, dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling lama tujuh tahun.
Kapolresta Tegal AKBP Rita Wulandari melalui Kanit Reskrim Ipda Eko Puji mengimbau warga masyarakat, khususnya warga Kota Tegal untuk selalu waspada dan hati-hati dalam memarkirkan kendaraanya, bila perlu dikunci ganda.
“Saya berpesan kepada warga masyarakat Kota Tegal agar lebih hati-hati dan selalu waspada dalam memarkirkan kendaraanmya, bila perlu di kunci ganda,” tutup Ipda Eko Puji.***
