SATUAN Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Pati bersama Polri, TNI, dan Muspika Juwana melakukan operasi para pengemis, gelandangan, dan orang telantar (PGOT) di kawasan Alun-alun Juwana, Selasa (26/8) malam.
Kasatpol PP Pati Hadi Santoso mengatakan, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan banyaknya laporan masyarakat yang merasa terganggu dengan keberadaan PGOT di Alun-alun Juwana.
Pasalnya, ketika mereka sedang mengamen dan meminta uang kepada para pengunjung kesannya memaksa, sehingga para pengunjung merasa terganggu dengan keberadaan PGOT tersebut.
“Atas laporan tersebut, kami langsung menindaklanjuti dengan melakukan operasi PGOT di lokasi,” ungkapnya kepada media.
Dalam razia itu, Satpol PP telah melakukan penertiban dan sekaligus memberikan pembinaan kepada PGOT dan para pengamen.
Selain razia, Satpol PP juga melakukan penertiban bagi para pedagang maupun pengunjung yang tidak memakai masker, untuk melakukan pencegahan penularan Covid-19.
“Kita juga melakukan penertiban sekaligus pembinaan di tempat, bagi para pengamen dan pengemis untuk tidak kembali lagi. Dan untuk pencegahan penularan Covid-19, kami juga melakukan pembagian masker kepada warga dan PGOT ini,” ungkapnya.***
