RATUSAN pelajar SD, SMP, SMA, dan SMK se-Kabupaten Tegal memperoleh Beasiswa Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP). Beasiswa untuk tahun ajaran 2020-2021 ini merupakan aspirasi dan perjuangan dari anggota Komisi IX DPR RI, Dewi Aryani.
“Beasiswa Program Indonesia Pintar ini untuk membantu anak-anak usia sekolah dari keluarga miskin dan rentan miskin,” ujar Dewi Aryani yang akrab disapa DeAr, Senin (31/8/2020).
Secara simbolis, Dewi Aryani menyerahkan SK dan akun virtual kepada siswa, di SD Sidaharja 02 Kecamatan Suradadi, Kabupaten Tegal.
Acara dihadiri kepala sekolah dan kepala desa setempat. Turut mendampingi, Ragil Tresna, anggota DPRD Dapil 3 Kabupaten Tegal Fraksi PDI Perjuangan.
Penyerahan beasiswa dilakukan di SD Sidaharja 02 Kecamatan Suradadi, menurut Dewi Aryani, karena sekolah ini berprestasi. Beberapa kali berhasil menjuarai lomba-lomba.
“Pada September ini, SD 02 Sidaharja juga akan mewakili Kabupaten Tegal maju tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Semoga menang dan jadi teladan sekolah yang lainnya,” harapnya.
Politisi PDI Perjuangan ini menambahkan, PIP dirancang untuk membantu anak-anak usia sekolah dari keluarga miskin/rentan miskin/prioritas tetap mendapatkan layanan pendidikan sampai tamat pendidikan menengah, baik melalui jalur pendidikan formal (mulai SD/MI hingga anak lulus SMA/SMK/MA) maupun pendidikan nonformal (Paket A hingga Paket C serta kursus terstandar).
Dijelaskan Dewi Aryani, yang berangkat ke Senayan dari Dapil Jawa Tengah IX (Kota/Kabupaten Tegal, Kabupaten Brebes), PIP merupakan kerjasama tiga kementerian, yaitu Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud), Kementerian Sosial (Kemensos), dan Kementerian Agama (Kemenag).
“Melalui program ini, pemerintah berupaya mencegah peserta didik dari kemungkinan putus sekolah dan diharapkan dapat menarik siswa putus sekolah agar kembali melanjutkan pendidikannya,” tutur Dewi Aryani.
Berikut daftar penerima Beasiswa Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) SD, SMP, SMA, dan SMK Kabupaten Tegal: SD Negeri Pedeslohor 01 (82 siswa), SD Negeri Karangwuluh 02 (34), SD Negeri Sidoharjo 02 (38), SD Negeri Sidoharjo 01 (1), SD Negeri Jatibogor 03 (44), dan SD Negeri Jatibogor 01 (1 siswa). Jumlah keseluruhan 200 siswa.
Selanjutnya SMP NU Sunan Kalijaga Adiwerna (64 siswa) dan SMPS Takhassus Al Qur’an Tarub (49). Jumlah total 113 siswa.
Kemudian SMA Takhassus Al Aquran (39 siswa), SMA NU Suradadi (1), serta SMK NU 1 Islamiyyah Kramat (71), SMKS An Nur Slawi (19), SMK Bhakti Praja Suradadi (28). Jumlah 118 siswa.
Untuk total SD, SMP, SMU, dan SMK mencapai hampir 600-an siswa penerima.***
