Dikenal pula dengan sebutan Alam Asri, Teluk Cakaran merupakan destinasi wisata indah yang terletak di Desa Gumawang, Kecamatan Wuryantoro, Kabupaten Wonogiri. Seperti apa pesona keelokan objek wisata alam yang masih perawan ini?
LOKASI Teluk Cakaran lebih kurang 8 km arah barat daya Kota Wonogiri. Untuk menuju kawasan ini, bisa ditempuh dengan bersepeda motor, naik angkot, atau bus umum jurusan Wuryantoro.
Perjalanan dari Terminal Bus Wonogiri menuju lokasi butuh waktu tempuh sekitar 20 menit. Dalam perjalanan, kita bisa menikmati keindahan gugusan pegunungan kapur serta berbagai jajaran wayang.
Selain itu, kita juga bisa melihat tanaman padi, palawija, yang tumbuh di sela-sela kaki bukit kapur.
Dengan segala keperawanan alamnya, Teluk Cakaran ternyata mampu memikat wisatawan. Di objek wisata ini pula, saat menjelang matahari terbenam (sunset), kita dapat melihat langit merona merah tembaga yang akhirnya lambat laun berubah cokelat hitam, menambah keindahan panorama Teluk Cakaran.
Sisi lain pesona keindahan Teluk Cakaran adalah pemandangan alam seputar teluk. Batu kapur yang tersusun rapi secara alami, bagai pagar yang kokoh membentengi. Pepohonan tumbuh menghijau di sepanjang perairan Teluk Cakaran, ternyata melengkapi tata warna keindahan objek wisata ini.
Karamba Terapung
Tak hanya keindahan alam yang dapat kita pandang, ternyata di tempat ini pula kita bisa melihat perikanan air tawar dengan sistem jala karamba terapung (Jakapung) yang dikelola oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Wonogiri dan warga sekitar.
Untuk memanjakan para pelancong, di tempat ini disediakan aneka jajanan ala Wonogiri, seperti bakso, bakmi, gendar pecel, nasi goreng, nasi tiwul, serta es degan atau kelapa muda.
Para turis juga bisa menikmati keindahan Teluk Cakaran sambil mengelilingi perairan Waduk Gajah Mungkur ( WGM), dengan naik perahu wisata secara pribadi atau rombongan, cukup mengeluarkan uang Rp 100.000.
Jika kita berwisata ke Teluk Cakaran, jangan lupa membawa pancing, karena pengunjung memang diizinkan memancing di sepanjang tepian Teluk Cakaran, secara bebas dan santai.
Selain itu, para pelancong dapat membeli ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan setempat, baik ikan segar atau yang sudah digoreng. Biasanya nelayan menangkap ikan pagi hari, pukul 10 sudah menepi dan menjual ikan tangkapannya.
Inilah pesona Teluk Cakaran yang begitu indah dan menawan. Tak heran jika tempat ini mendapat julukan Alam Asri.***
