SEBANYAK 2.750 anak yatim di seluruh Kabupaten Rembang mendapat bantuan sosial atau santunan dari Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) setempat. Masing-masing anak menerima Rp 400 ribu.
Tahun ini, Pemkab Rembang menganggarkan Rp 1,1 miliar dari APBD II.
Bupati H Abdul Hafidz saat menyerahkan bantuan sosial kepada anak yatim Kecamatan Rembang Kota, Sabtu (5/9/2020) mengatakan, bantuan sosial ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian Pemkab Rembang kepada anak yatim.
Jumlah anak yatim di Kecamatan Rembang Kota yang menerima bantuan sebanyak 303 anak.
“Jumlahnya memang tidak seberapa, namun bantuan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian Pemkab kepada anak yatim,” kata Hafidz.
Dia menambahkan, mulai saat ini jangan ada lagi istilah “betapa malang nasibmu” untuk anak yatim.
“Sejak zaman Nabi, anak yatim mendapat tempat terhormat. Bahkan Kanjeng Nabi bersabda, ‘bagi siapa yang membantu anak yatim, maka nanti naik surga bersanmaku dan sangat dekat. Ibarat hanya berjarak dua hari,” ungkap Hafidz.
Kabid Pemberdayaan Sosial Dinsos BPKB Rembang Roqik Nasaton kepada media mengatakan, pemberian santunan seperti ini sudah berjalan tiga tahun. “InsyaAllah tahun depan ada lagi,” ujarnya.***
