MEMPERINGATI Hari Bersih-bersih Sedunia atau World Cleanup Day (WCD) 2020, Kabupaten Grobogan berniat menjadikan daerah bebas atau bersih dari sampah.
“Melalui peringatan WCD ini, kami mengajak seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Grobogan untuk peduli dengan lingkungannya. Pokoke Grobogan kudu resik,” tegas Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Grobogan Agus Prastowo di sela kegiatan WCD, Minggu (20/9/2020).
Agus Prastowo menjelaskan, melalui peringatan WCD, masyarakat Kabupaten Grobogan diajak untuk selalu peduli terhadap sampah yang dihasilkan sendiri setiap hari, sehingga akan tercipta lingkungan yang bersih sesuai slogan Kabupaten Grobogan, “Bersemi” atau Bersih, Sehat, Mantap, dan Indah.
Banyak kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam memperingati Hari Bersih-bersih Sedunia, di antaranya apel bersama yang digelar di halaman Dinas LH, memungut sampah yang ada di setiap sudut kota dengan sarana Truk Patroli Sampah, yang melibatkan seluruh lapisan masyarakat, serta gowes bersama.
Untuk menunjang pengelolaan lingkungan yang begitu luas, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Grobogan saat ini memiliki 3 unit pelaksana teknis, yakni UPT Gubug, Purwodadi, dan Wirosari yang masing-masing bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan hidup di wilayahnya.***
