Sejak dicat warna-warni, dengan sawah terasering yang mengelilingi, pesona keindahan Jembatan Gantung Soropadan menjadi viral dan disebut-sebut tak kalah dibanding Pulau Bali.
KEINDAHAN suasana saat berswafoto (selfie) di atas Jembatan Gantung Soropadan, Kecamatan Pringsurat, Kabupaten Temanggung terkadang memang membuat pelaku selfie tak menghiraukan kapasitas beban yang diizinkan.
Karena itu, Dinas Pekerjaan Umum, Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman (DPUPKP) Kabupaten Temanggung bersurat kepada Kepala Desa Soropadan agar menerapkan ketentuan teknis mengenai kapasitas jembatan. Hal itu ditegaskan Kepala DPUPKP Hendra Sumaryana di kantornya, Jumat (25/9/2020).
Jembatan Gantung Soropadan di Desa Soropadan, Kecamatan Pringsurat, Kabupaten Temanggung terus menjadi perhatian masyarakat. Tren saat ini adalah menjadi tujuan wisata gowes, karena nilai estetika lokalnya.
Banyaknya pengunjung yang ingin menikmati sensasi jembatan gantung, membuat Dusun Digelan, lokasi jembatan ini juga menjadi semakin viral. Spontan, warga pun membuka lapak dagangan tradisional yang digelar untuk menyambut kedatangan pengunjung. [KLIK teks ini untuk menonton VIDEO-nya!]
Hendra Sumaryana mengatakan, keamanan dan keselamatan pengunjung perlu dipikirkan bersama. Di antaranya dengan cara melaksanakan ketentuan teknis, yaitu bahwa kapasitas beban maksimum hanya 40 orang secara bersamaan di atas jembatan.
“Pemerintah Desa juga perlu ikut melakukan pengawasan, sehingga jika pengunjung banyak, maka harus bergantian untuk naik ke jembatan,” tandas Hendra.
Cat Warna-Warni
Seperti diketahui, Jembatan Gantung Soropadan berukuran 90 meter x 1,8 meter, menghubungkan Desa Soropadan, Temanggung dengan Desa Kalikuto, Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Magelang, diresmikan pada 2017 silam.
Belakangan Jembatan Gantung Soropadan menjadi viral setelah badan jembatan dicat warna-warni oleh Dinas DPUPKP Kabupaten Temanggung. [KLIK teks ini untuk menonton VIDEO-nya!]
Tujuan utama pembangunan Jembatan Gantung Soropadan adalah sebagai sarana penyeberangan antara dua wilayah yang dipisahkan Sungai Elo. Menurut keterangan warga, setelah jembatan ini dibangun, lebih menghemat waktu dan biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk transportasi.
Untuk meningkatkan daya tarik jembatan sebagai destinasi lokal, DPUPKP Kabupaten Temanggung melalui program Padat Karya Tunai telah mengecat dua jembatan gantung di Temanggung, Jembatan Gantung Sekrikil, Kecamatan Parakan dan Jembatan Gantung Soropadan, beberapa bulan lalu.
Total anggaran dalam padat karya pengecatan dua jembatan gantung tersebut mencapai Rp 109,5 juta. Dengan adanya padat karya seperti ini, diharapkan dapat sedikit membantu masyarakat yang terdampak Covid-19. Selain mereka dapat upah, jembatan juga menjadi lebih indah dan menarik.
Potensi Ekonomi
Dalam perkembangannya, selain menjadi akses penghubung antardesa, Jembatan Gantung Soropadan juga dapat menggerakkan potensi ekonomi perdesaan sebagai objek wisata. Kehadiran jembatan ini akan mempermudah dan mempersingkat waktu perjalanan masyarakat perdesaan menuju sekolah, pasar, tempat kerja, menyelesaikan urusan administrasi ke kantor kelurahan atau kecamatan dan akses silaturahmi antarwarga.
Selain itu, banyaknya pengunjung menjadikan Pemerintah Desa Soropadan menggagas untuk mengembangkan potensi wisatanya. Terlebih, desa ini akan mempertahankan potensi wisata berbasis alam desa. Kawasan ini dapat menjadi kawasan khusus guna menyokong wisata Candi Borobudur.
Pesona hamparan sawah dengan terasering yang sangat indah, tidak kalah dibanding Pulau Bali, sehingga layak dikembangkan. Apalagi letaknya di jalur strategis jalan raya Semarang-Yogyakarta. [KLIK teks ini untuk menonton VIDEO-nya!]
Didukung keberadaan terminal agribisnis, tempat gelaran Soropadan Agro Expo, potensi kerajinan ukir tembaga, serta dekat kawasan wisata Candi Umbul, maka Soropadan semakin kuat untuk menjadi desa wisata.***
