DEBAT Publik Pasangan Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kendal putaran pertama, beberapa hari lalu ternyata berbuntut panjang bagi Paslon Ali Nurudin dan Yekti Handayani (NUrani).
Akibat menyinggung soal Desa Wonorejo yang terdampak Kawasan Industri Kendal (KIK), paslon nomor urut 2 yang dikenal dengan slogan “putra daerah” ini diundang oleh warga setempat untuk menjelaskan lebih detil seputar apa yang disampaikan dalam debat pekan lalu.
Paslon NUrani pun memenuhi undangan itu. Cawabup Yekti Handayani yang hadir memenuhi undangan, Minggu (22/11/2020) seperti disidang, mendengarkan keluh kesah dan keinginan dari warga desa yang berbatasan dengan KIK tersebut.
“Warga ingin ada ganti untung, bukan ganti rugi. Dengan apa? Dibantu penanganan masalah rob. Diperhatikan kelangsungan penghidupannya. Jangan sampai warga yang terdampak langsung dari megaproyek KIK ini cuma jadi penonton,” terang Ani, Senin (23/11/2020).
Keinginan Terbelah
Terkait wacana relokasi sebagai jalan keluar dari permasalahan rob dan penurunan tanah, pengusaha yang juga berprofesi sebagai guru itu menyebut keinginan dari warga masih terbelah. Menurutnya, sebagian warga tidak keberatan untuk direlokasi, sebagian lagi bersikukuh ingin bertahan.
“Prinsipnya, baik relokasi maupun tetap bertahan, warga minta pemerintah daerah dan perusahaan memberikan kompensasi yang adil untuk keberlanjutan penghidupan mereka. Di antaranya diprioritaskan dalam penerimaan tenaga kerja di KIK,” sambungnya.
Setelah mendatangi warga Wonorejo, hari ini, Senin (23/11/2020) giliran rumah Cawabup Yekti Handayani didatangi warga Desa Sumberejo. Tak tanggung-tanggung, warga berjumlah mencapai 120 orang menggeruduk kediaman Ani di Desa Kebongembong, Kecamatan Pageruyung.
“Warga Sumberejo menyampaikan aspirasinya, agar bisa diprioritaskan dalam penerimaan tenaga kerja. Bagi kami, permintaan itu insyaAllah bisa kami penuhi jika Ustaz Ali dan saya dipercaya memimpin Kendal,” jelas Ani, sapaan akrab Yekti Handayani.
Alih-alih merasa kapok, kejadian disidang dan digeruduk oleh warga di dua desa di Kecamatan Kaliwungu yang terdampak pembangunan KIK itu justru membuat Ani bersyukur. Baginya, dari momen itu Paslon NUrani mendapatkan tambahan saudara.
“Politik itu apa sih yang dicari? Untuk memberikan manfaat kepada orang banyak, bukan? Alhamdulilah, dari Pilkada ini kami jadi tambah sedulur. Tentunya akan jadi kebanggaan bagi kami jika bisa mewujudkan harapan dari warga Kendal sedulur kami itu,” pungkas Ani.***
