BERSAMA Dandim 0715 Kendal Letkol Inf Iman Widhiarto, Kapolres Kendal AKBP Raphael Sandhy Cahya Priambodo menyalurkan ratusan paket beras kepada warga kurang mampu, khususnya yang terdampak Covid-19. Bantuan sosial ini dibagikan di Mapolres Kendal, Selasa (8/12/2020).
Dalam penyaluran bantuan sosial kali ini, total beras yang dibagikan sebanyak 11 ton, terbagi dalam 2.200 paket beras 5 kilogram.
Untuk Polres Kendal sendiri, sedikitnya membagikan sejumlah 100 paket, sedangkan Polsek jajaran membagikan masing-masing 100 paket ke 20 kecamatan yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Kendal.
Kapolres Kendal AKBP Raphael Sandhy menyampaikan bahwa pemberian bantuan untuk warga tersebut sebagai bentuk silaturahmi dari TNI-Polri dengan warga sekaligus untuk memberikan bantuan kepada warga kurang mampu yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19.
“Jadi, bantuan sembako ini kami berikan kepada warga terdampak Corona yang kehilangan pekerjaan ataupun terimpit kebutuhannya karena pandemi. Seperti halnya tukang becak, juru parkir, ojek pangkalan, ojek online, kusir andong, korban PHK, maupun warga kurang mampu lainnya,” terang Kapolres.
Untuk pembagian sembako dilakukan secara serentak oleh Polres Kendal hingga ke Polsek-Polsek.
Bakti Sosial TNI-Polri Peduli Masyarakat terdampak Covid-19 ini terselenggara atas kerjasama Polres Kendal bersama Kodim 0715 Kendal dengan Yayasan Budha Suci Indonesia.
Baidi (40), warga Desa Karangsari yang berprofesi sebagai tukang becak mengaku sangat terbantu dengan adanya pembagian paket sembako dari TNI-Polri Kabupaten Kendal, karena bisa membantu mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari yang semakin susah.
“Saya sangat berterima kasih kepada bapak Polisi dan TNI yang telah memberikan bantuan sembako ini. Kami merasa terbantu, apalagi dengan kondisi pandemi saat ini,” ujarnya.***
