PENERAPAN Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) Darurat, yang bertujuan untuk menekan penyebaran Covid-19 sangat berdampak bagi masyarakat, utamanya para pedagang kakilima (PKL), tukang parkir, tukang becak, dan pekerja harian.
Berempati atas kondisi ini, Kapolres Grobogan AKBP Benny Setyawadi melakukan aksi sosial yang dinamai “Gerakan Tetolong Warga Terdampak PPKM Darurat,” berupa penghimpunan dana dari sebagian rezeki anggotanya, baik di Polres maupun Polsek jajaran melalui kotak yang telah disediakan Propam.
“Melalui kegiatan ini, kami belajar berempati kepada warga kurang mampu, terlebih yang terdampak PPKM Darurat,” kata AKBP Benny Setyawadi didampingi Wakapolres Kompol Samsu Wiman, usai apel pagi di halaman Mapolres, Senin (19/7/2021).
Selain program Bazis yang ada di Polres, aksi sosial ini juga menjadi pembelajaran agar seluruh anggota tidak lupa dengan penderitaan sesama.
Adapun dana yang terkumpul akan dipergunakan untuk memborong makanan dari PKL dan angkringan yang terdampak PPKM Darurat, kemudian makanan-makanan yang diborong tersebut diberikan kepada warga yang terdampak langsung PPKM Darurat.
“Kegiatan pengumpulan dana ini akan kami lanjutkan terus secara rutin,” ucap Kapolres AKBP Benny Setyawadi.
Jumlah dana yang terkumpul saat itu lumayan banyak, sekitar Rp 4.400.000, yang digunakan untuk memborong makanan empat PKL dan angkringan.
“Makanan yang kami borong itu kemudian dikemas menjadi 600 paket makanan, yang siang itu dibagikan kepada warga masyarakat yang terdampak PPKM Darurat, seperti pemulung, tukang parkir, tukang becak, dan pekerja harian,” terang Kapolres AKBP Benny Setyawadi.***
