Blora, Kopi Excelsa asal Lampung ternyata bisa tumbuh subur di lahan milik Pranoto (72) warga Desa Nglawungan, Kecamatan Tunjungan, Kabupaten Blora. Menariknya, tanaman kopi tumbuh subur di bawah kebun durian. Lahan seluas 250 meter milik Pranoto ditanami sekitar 75 pohon kopi.
Dia mengaku menanam kopi Lampung berawal dari keinginannya untuk menikmati kopi di rumah sendiri.
Ketika Pranoto ke tempat saudaranya di Lampung tahun 2007 silam, ia membawa bibit kopi untuk dikembangkan di desanya. Bibit kopi ditanam di bawah pohon durian, dan hasilnya kopi tumbuh subur hingga sekarang. “Awalnya ya itu, saya kan punya saudara di Lampung, terus saya minta bibit kopi untuk dibawa pulang dan ditanam di sini. Supaya kalau saya pingin buat kopi enak, tidak usah jauh jauh,” katanya.
Pada tahun 2010 atau tiga tahun berikutnya, Kopi Excelsa miliknya mulai panen. Awal panen tidak dijual karena hanya untuk konsumsi sendiri.
Kopi hasil panen juga dibagikan kepada tetangga. Baru setelah ada petugas penyuluh pertanian tahu, ia dibantu untuk memasarkan dengan harga Rp50.000 per kilogram.
Setelah pandemi Covid-19, jumlah pembelian sepi. Kini mulai bangkit lagi setelah pandemi mulai reda. Ia diajak kerja sama oleh pemilik kedai kopi di Kecamatan Kota Blora.
“Kemarin yang jualan kopi di Blora datang ke sini. Katanya mau dipasarkan,” tuturnya.
