Wonogiri-Inspirasiline.com. Mengejutkan, Mbah Karman berusia 75 tahun, warga Dusun Karangkulon, Desa Sumberagung, Kab.Wonogiri, diserang ratusan lebah madu jenis Tawon Gung, atau Apis Dorsata. (14/01/2025).
Kejadian tersebut berlangsung sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB, ketika Mbah Karman akan merumput, mencari pakan ternak di ladang, yang jaraknya lebih kurang 200 meter dari Balai Desa Sumberagung.
Menurut keterangan saksi mata (Suratman) yang berada di lokasi tersebut, gerombolan tawon menyerang Mbah Karman secara tiba – tiba. Ia jatuh terguling di jalan aspal, dikerubuti ratusan tawon.
Melihat kejadian tersebut, Suratman langsung melaporkan peristiwa ke Balai Desa Sumberagung. Tanggap, perangkat Desa Sumberagung segera berkoordinasi dengan relawan desa untuk mengevakuasi korban.
Berbekal daun kelapa ( blarak ), kelaras, jerami dan lainnya, para relawan berhasil mengusir lebah yang merubung tubuh Mbah Karman.
Berikutnya, korban dilarikan ke rumah sakit dalam kondisi kesakitan dengan ratusan sengat (Jw. entup) masih menancap di tubuhnya.
” Untungnya korban masih sadar saat dibawa ke rumah sakit, dan kini kondisinya dilaporkan stabil setelah mendapat penanganan medis,” ujar Yono, salah seorang relawan.
Relawan mengimbau warga, agar lebih berhati – hati saat beraktivitas di ladang atau kawasan sekitar yang berpotensi menjadi habitat Tawon Gung.
” Kami sarankan warga untuk tidak mendekati sarang lebah dan segera melaporkan jika ditemukan adanya sarang tawon di dekat pemukiman penduduk, ” katanya.
Tawon Gung dikenal sebagai jenis lebah madu yang cukup agresif dalam mempertahankan sarangnya.
Sengatannya dapat menyebabkan reaksi alergi hingga syok anafilaksis ( Alergi berat secara tiba – tiba ) pada korban, terutama jika diserang dalam jumlah besar.
