JELANG Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Perdana, 25 Oktober 2020 mendatang, Pengurus Daerah (PD) Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO) Tegal menggelar rapat persiapan di Kantor Sekretariat 1 IWO Tegal, Jalan Arjuna Gang 15 No 29, Kota Tegal, Minggu (30/8/2020) pagi.
Pertemuan untuk menyiapkan beberapa agenda memeriahkan HUT Perdana, termasuk pembahasan program-progam IWO Tegal tahun depan (2021).
Dipimpin Ketua IWO Tegal Hartadi Setiawan, rapat yang dihadiri pengurus dan beberapa anggota ini juga disaksikan Dewan Kehormatan IWO Tegal M Aksan.
Rapat merumuskan beberapa rancangan agenda kegiatan, di antaranya IWO Tegal akan menggelar acara tasyakuran, bakti sosial, juga kunjungan ke Kantor IWO Pusat di Jakarta. “Selain itu, membahas program-program IWO Tegal di 2021 mendatang,” katanya.
Dijelaskan Hartadi, ini merupakan momentum IWO Tegal memperingati ulang tahun pertamanya pada 25 Oktober 2020 mendatang. Menurutnya, acara peringatan HUT Perdana ini merupakan wujud rasa syukur IWO sebagai organisasi jurnalis yang berdiri hampir satu tahun dalam mengawal pembangunan dan kontrol sosial, khususnya di Kota Tegal maupun Kabupaten Tegal.
“Alhamdulillah, hadirnya IWO Tegal dapat diterima dengan baik dan memberikan warna tersendiri bagi insan jurnalis. Terbukti, IWO Tegal sudah melegalkan organisasinya dengan mendaftarkan dan resmi mengantongi Surat Keterangan Terdaftar (SKT) di Kantor Bagian Kesbangpol, baik Kota Tegal maupun Kabupaten Tegal, beberapa bulan lalu,” ungkapnya.
Hartadi menambahkan, PD IWO Tegal, bersama Pengurus Wilayah (PW) IWO Jateng di Kendal, resmi dilantik pada 25 Oktober 2019 oleh Pengurus Pusat. Pelantikan dilakukan oleh Ketua Umum IWO Pusat Jodhi Yudono, dan dihadiri Sekjen IWO Pusat Dwi Christianto.
Sebentar lagi genap satu tahun usia berdirinya IWO Tegal. “Tentunya usia satu tahun itu masih sangatlah muda. Namun kita tetap dan terus semangat mengibarkan panji-panji organisasi menuju jurnalis yang lebih profesional lagi. Bekerja dengan keras, berpikir tanpa batas,” tegasnya.
Hartadi berharap, kelak semua pihak dapat ikut serta berpartisipasi dalam menyukseskan HUT Pertama IWO Tegal.
Sekretaris IWO Tegal Ahmad Wahidin menambahkan, momentum menyambut HUT Pertama IWO Tegal diharap mampu meningkatkan jalinan silaturahmi antaranggota dan pengurus. Diharapkan, IWO Tegal akan selalu solid dan kompak, serta terus berkiprah sesuai tupoksinya dalam hal perbaikan pembangunan di daerah, melalui pemberitaan yang membangun.
Sementara Dewan Kehormatan IWO Tegal M Aksan menyatakan perlu adanya penguatan lembaga, tata kelola sinergitas antaranggota IWO, baik pusat maupun daerah, agar selalu tanggap dalam menyikapi dinamika publik yang terus berkembang, dan tetap berkarya untuk nusantara.***
