PANDEMI Covid-19 berdampak pada semua sektor kehidupan, penurunan tingkat daya beli masyarakat. Untuk mencegah dampak ekonomi tersebut, banyak masyarakat yang berusaha meraup keuntungan melalui jualan.
Sepasang suami istri, Sutadi (50) dan Sri Murni (45), warga Genengadal, Kecamatan Toroh, Kabupaten Grobogan sudah sejak lima tahun lalu berusaha berjualan makanan atau jajanan khas Jawa berbahan dasar singkong, seperti gethuk lindri, gobet, thiwul, gethuk pisang, lopis, dan sebagainya.
Pasutri ini berjualan jajanan dipicu keinginan memperoleh keuntungan sekaligus melestarian jajanan khas Jawa. “Niat kami, di samping memperoleh keuntungan, juga inginnya jajanan seperti itu kami lestarikan, karena ini makanan khas Jawa,” ungkap Sutadi, di lapak Nita Jaya miliknya, Selasa (1/9/2020).
Dari berjualan aneka jajanan tradisional ini, utadi-Sri Murni bisa menyekolahkan ketiga anak mereka yang kesemuanya laki-laki. Bahkan, si bungsu berhasil masuk ke Poltekes Semarang.
Diceritakan Sutadi, pernah ada mahasiswa dari Purwodadi yang membawa produknya. Setelah dibawa ke Semarang dan dicicipi teman-temannya, suatu hari mereka mencari sendiri ke lapak Nita Jaya, milik pasutri ini.
“Jajanannya enak dan lezat,” ujar Sutadi menirukan pengakuan pembelinya yang dari Semarang itu.
Sutadi dan Sri Murni menggelar lapak jajanannya di Jalan A Yani, depan Rumah Makan Mbak Ping, Purwodadi.
“Niat kami ya untuk melestarikan makanan khas Jawa, agar aneka makanan tradisional itu tidak punah terrmakan jenis makanan modern,” tutur Sutadi.***
