PEMERINTAH Kota Tegal bersama jajaran Forkopimda dan Tim Penggerak PKK Kota Tegal menggelar Gerebeg Masker yang dipusatkan di Perempatan Kejambon, Kota Tegal, Kamis (10/9/2020).
Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud sinergitas Pemkot Tegal bersama jajaran Forkopimda, dalam gerakan pembagian masker secara nasional.
Wakil Wali Kota Tegal Muhamad Jumadi menuturkan, kegiatan Gerebeg Masker sekaligus sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait pemakaian masker dan jaga jarak. “Hal itu wajib dan tidak bisa ditawar,” katanya.
Jumadi menjelaskan, Gerebeg Masker juga merupakan bagian dari sosialisasi Peraturan Wali Kota Tegal No 29 Tahun 2020 tentang Perubahan atas Perwal No 13 Tahun 2020 tentang Pencegahan Penularan Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) di Kota Tegal.
Dalam Perwal tersebut, orang yang melanggar protokol kesehatan dapat dikenai denda Rp 100.000 bagi yang tidak memakai masker. “Siapa pun yang tidak memakai masker di Kota Tegal akan dikenakan denda Rp 100 ribu,” tegas Jumadi.
Jumadi mengungkapkan, masyarakat dapat membayarkan denda secara langsung atau melalui Bank Jateng.
“Inovasi-inovasi itu penting, tapi ini dulu (protokol kesehatan –red). Ibu Kapolres, Pak Dandim, dan semua bersinergi, berkolaborasi untuk menginformasikan, mengedukasi masyarakat agar selalu disiplin memakai masker,” ujar Jumadi.
Selain denda, kata Jumadi, juga terdapat sanksi sosial seperti bersih-bersih, push up, melafalkan Pancasila, menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya, namun efek jera juga harus diterapkan.
“Sanksi denda itu penting, sebab tren kasus Covid-19 mulai naik lagi,” papar Jumadi.
Jumadi menjelaskan, sanksi tidak memakai masker berlaku untuk semua, termasuk Wali Kota, Wakil Wali Kota, Dandim 0712 Tegal, Kapolres Tegal Kota, dan perusahaan. “Semua sama. Tidak ada pengecualian. Seluruh masyarakat wajib pakai masker,” tegas Jumadi.
