PROGRAM Kampung Iklim (Proklim) Kelurahan Ngadirejo dan Proklim Kelurahan Kartasura, Kabupaten Sukoharjo meraih penghargaan tingkat nasional Festival Iklim 2020 dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK).
Proklim Kelurahan Ngadirejo meraih penghargaan Kategori Proklim Lestari. Sedangkan Proklim Kelurahan Kartasura meraih kategori Proklim Utama.
Penghargaan diserahkan di Jakarta, beberapa waktu lalu, dan diterima langsung Ketua Proklim Sukoharjo Suryono Arif Wijaya.
“Keberhasilan Proklim Kelurahan Ngadirejo mendapatkan penghargaan Proklim Lestari tahun ini merupakan kali pertama untuk Provinsi Jawa Tengah,” kata Suryono Arif Wijaya, Selasa (3/11/2020).
Keberhasilan itu, menurutnya, karen Proklim Ngadirejo telah membina 44 lokasi proklim yang berada di lintas kabupaten/kota di Jawa Tengah.
“Berbagai pengayaan kegiatan juga telah dilaksanakan, di antaranya integrasi pemanenan air hujan untuk kolam ikan dan penyiraman tanaman, penggunaan aplikasi online untuk pengelolaan sampah, serta penghematan energi dan air melalui lampu sensor dan kran sensor,” cetusnya.
Selain itu, pengayaan dalam menyebarluaskan kegiatan proklim di masa pandemi Covid-19, melalui pelatihan online yang diikuti oleh peserta seluruh Indonesia, juga telah berdampak ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan.
“Dengan keberhasilan itu, kami berharap ke depan proklim Kelurahan Ngadirejo bisa mewujudkan mimpi untuk memunyai lembaga pendidikan lingkungan yang akan menjadi tempat pendidikan dan pelatihan pengelolaan lingkungan dan museum kerajinan daur ulang sampah di Indonesia,” terangnya.
Penguatan Adaptasi
Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Pemkab Sukoharjo Agustinus Setiyono mengatakan, proklim merupakan program nasional bagi peningkatan keterlibatan masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan lain untuk melakukan penguatan kapasitas adaptasi terhadap dampak perubahan iklim dan penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca.
Selain itu, juga memberikan pengakuan terhadap upaya adaptasi dan mitigasi perubahan iklim yang telah dilakukan, yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan di tingkat lokal sesuai dengan kondisi wilayah.
“Keberhasilan meraih penghargaan dari Kementerian LHK diharapkan mendatang program proklim dapat diikuti oleh berbagai kelurahan desa di Sukoharjo,” ujar Agustinus.
Menurutnya, penghargaan tersebut juga melengkapi penghargaan yang diraih sebelumnya, yang diterima Bupati Sukoharjo Wardoyo Wijaya berupa penghargaan untuk Pembina Proklim dari Menteri LHK 2018.***
