KETUA Umum DPP Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) Ahmad Muhaimin Iskandar memberikan semangat untuk semua kader PKB agar dapat merebut kemenangan di Pilkada 2020.
Menurut sejarah, PKB di Kendal sudah mengukir kemenangan pemilu pada 2019 dan kini harus menang di Pilkada serentak 9 Desember mendatang.
“Semua kader harus menjadi motor bagi pemenangan NUrani. Tinggal kesungguhan relawan dan pendukung untuk datang ke TPS dan memilih pasangan yang asli putra daerah,” katanya di kegiatan Gus AMI Menyapa Petani dan Nelayan, di RM Salsabil Brangsong, Selasa (17/11/2020) sore.
Gus AMI mengatakan, untuk pilkada yang tinggal menghitung hari ini, semua kader, simpatisan, dan relawan serta pendukung jangan tinggal diam. Mulai bekerja, bergerilya menyerukan dan menggerakkan seluruh masyarakat untuk memenangkan pasangan nomor urut 2.
Dia juga memberikan arahan, di masa pandemi Covid-19 seperti ini, bangsa Indonesia masih memiliki kekuatan kultur yang terbangun sejak lama.
“Dengan adanya kekompakan dan kesatuan bangsa Indonesia yang menjadikan negara kokoh, tahan banting, serta sudah teruji oleh waktu dan zaman. Modal kebersamaan dan kekuatan ini perlu didukung oleh kekuatan, kekuasaan di pemerintahan,” tuturnya.
Ukir Sejarah
Sementara itu anggota DPR RI Alamudin Dimyati Rois mengatakan, PKB dan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) di Kendal sudah mengukir sejarah.
“Sejak awal pemilu, baru Pemilu 2019 PKB bisa memenangi pesta demokrasi di Kendal. InsyaAllah kemenangan kedua bisa didapat dengan menempatkan Ali Nurudin-Yekti Handayani menjadi Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kendal,” ungkapnya.
Calon Bupati Kendal yang diusung PKB, Partai Nasdem, dan Partai Gerindra Ali Nurudin mengaku senang dan bangga, Ketua Umum PKB bisa hadir memberikan semangat kepada kader dan simpatisan untuk memenangi Pilkada 2020.
“Semoga dukungan kepada NUrani semakin kuat dan semakin banyak, agar bisa memenangi Pilkada 9 Desember mendatang,” harapnya.
