HOBI main pesawat model atau aeromodelling, kini tak hanya monopoli mereka yang berduit dan tinggal di kota saja. Hobi “mahal” tersebut telah merambah kalangan pemuda di pelosok desa.
Tomo (32), seorang pemuda asal Desa Tambirejo, Kecamatan Toroh, Kabupaten Grobogan bersama pemuda lainnya membentuk komunitas penghobi pesawat aeromedelling.
Dia merakit sendiri replika pesawat. Ada yang berbentuk pesawat jet, Super Puma, Skyhawk, F16, dan sebagainya.
“Semua replika pesawat saya rakit sendiri dengan bahan gabus, termasuk merakit propeller-nya yang digerakkan dengan baterai,” ungkapnya kepada inspirasiline.com yang menyambanginya saat latihan menerbangkan pesawat aeromodelling bersama rekan-rekannya di Lapangan Danyang, Purwodadi, Minggu (29/8/2021).
Untuk membuat sebuah replika pesawat, Tomo mengaku, bisa menghabiskan biaya sekitar Rp 400 ribuan. Biaya tersebut belum termasuk mesin, baterai, dan remote-nya
“Kalau keseluruhan pesawat, termasuk baterai dan remote-nya ya sekitar Rp 1,5 jutaan-lah,” terangnya.
Tomo mengungkapkan, banyak warga, khususnya penghobi pesawat aeromodelling yang memesan pembuatan pesawat kepadanya.
Lain lagi Didik, yang tinggal di Desa Pulorejo, Kecamatan Purwodadi Grobogan. Di rumahnya, dia memiliki sebanyak 20 buah replika pesawat dan ada satu replika seharga Rp 15 juta.
“Karena saya menyenangi permainan ini. Ya itulah hobi. Berapa pun biayanya, ya saya penuhi,” cetus Didik, yang tampak piawai menerbangkan jet birunya.
Dalam komunitas penghobi aeromodelling ini, juga terdapat beberapa pegawai pemerintah, seperti Joko Nugroho, salah satu kepala bidang (kabid) di Dinas Koperasi UMKM Grobogan.
Sudah lama dia punya hobi terpendam aeromodelling, dan baru sekarang bisa dia salurkan di komunitas ini.
“Sejauh ini, di Grobogan belum ada organisasinya. Tapi sudah ada komunitasnya sebagai embrionya,” kata Joko Nugroho.
Menurutnya, anggota komunitas penghobi pesawat aeromodelling di Grobogan bisa dihitung dengan jari.
“Sekitar 15 orang yang ada dalam.komunitas kami,” bebernya.***
