KEMENTERIAN Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) memberikan apresiasi terhadap inovasi layanan penukaran uang steril yang diterapkan di Pasar Manis, Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, guna mencegah penularan Covid-19.
“Kunjungan kami ke sini untuk melihat langsung sejauh mana penerapan protokol kesehatan di Pasar Manis. Salah satu yang menarik adalah penukaran uang steril, yang menurut kami ini jarang dilakukan oleh pengelola pasar, dan sepertinya Banyumas yang pertama kali melakukan inovasi ini,” kata Kepala Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Inovasi Daerah Kemendagri Matheos Tan di Purwokerto, Jumat (7/8).
Dia mengatakan hal itu saat melakukan pemantauan di Pasar Manis yang belum lama mendapat penghargaan sebagai Pasar Tradisional Paling Inovatif dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan pada masa pandemi Covid-19.
Menurut dia, pihaknya juga memberikan apresiasi terhadap layanan transaksi nontunai dan belanja secara daring yang telah diterapkan di Pasar Manis.
Lebih lanjut, Matheos mengatakan, penukaran uang steril bisa membantu pencegahan penularan Covid-19, karena salah satu media penularan virus Corona jenis baru itu melalui uang yang berpindah tangan dari satu orang ke orang lainnya.
Oleh karena itu, dia meminta agar inovasi tersebut bisa dilakukan di pasar-pasar lainnya yang ada di Kabupaten Banyumas.
“Ini kolaborasi yang bagus antara Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyumas dengan pihak bank. Akan lebih baik lagi jika bisa diterapkan di pasar lainnya yang ada di Kabupaten Banyumas, dan daerah lain juga bisa mencontoh inovasi ini sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan Covid-19,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Sekretaris Daerah Banyumas Wahyu Budi Saptono mengatakan, beberapa pasar tradisional di Kabupaten Banyumas telah menerapkan protokol kesehatan sejak pandemi Covid-19, salah satunya Pasar Manis.
Tak hanya itu, bahkan transaksi nontunai telah diterapkan di Pasar Manis jauh sebelum terjadinya pandemi Covid-19, meskipun belum semua pedagang menerapkannya.
“Kami terus edukasi pedagang, juga pembeli, agar bisa melakukan transaksi nontunai untuk mengurangi kontak langsung,” katanya.
Menurut dia, pihaknya bersama Bank Indonesia saat sekarang juga tengah menggencarkan sosialisasi pembayaran nontunai dengan menggunakan Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) dan beberapa pedagang sudah menggunakan QRIS.
Selain itu, pedagang di Pasar Manis juga sudah melayani transaksi dengan menggunakan aplikasi belanja “Beceer” yang berbasis Android.
Terkait dengan layanan penukaran uang steril, Sekda Wahyu Budi Saptono menjelaskan bahwa hal itu dilakukan atas kerjasama dengan Bank Jateng dan hanya untuk melayani pembeli yang belanja di Pasar Manis.
“Khusus untuk transaksi nontunai, kami sarankan para pedagang dan pembeli bisa melakukan transaksi dengan menggunakan QRIS. Kami terus berupaya melakukan upaya untuk mencegah penularan Covid-19,” tuturnya.***
