APARAT Polsek Gemolong, Polres Sragen meringkus Abdul Hamid (31), pencuri spesialis tas dalam mobil yang biasa beraksi di jalan Solo-Purwodadi.
Warga asal Jalan Pejompongan, RT 10/RW 07, Tanahabang, Jakarta Pusat itu tinggal di rumah istrinya di Dukuh Munggur, RT 16, Desa Jenalas, Kecamatan Gemolong, Sragen. Abdul Hamid tidak berkutik saat ditangkap polisi di rumah istrinya, Senin (7/6/2021).
Penangkapan terhadap tersangka bermula dari laporan korban yang diterima Polsek Gemolong pada 2 Mei lalu. Saat itu, korban yang diketahui bernama Prapti (47) mengemudikan mobil Honda Brio di jalan Solo-Purwodadi.
Sesampainya di Dukuh Dondong, Desa Purworejo, Kecamatan Gemolong tiba-tiba dipepet oleh tersangka yang mengendarai sepeda motor.
Tersangka tiba-tiba meminta pertanggungjawaban kepada korban yang dituduh telah menyenggol sepeda motornya di jalan. Korban kemudian menghentikan laju mobilnya. Korban turun dari mobil, lalu melihat bagian belakang mobilnya.
Namun, saat korban menuju bagian belakang mobilnya, tiba-tiba tersangka membuka pintu depan mobil sebelah kiri, kemudian membawa kabur tas berwarna merah marun berisi uang tunai Rp 600.000, SIM A, SIM C, kartu ATM, gelang emas seberat 12 gram, dan surat-surat penting lainnya.
Menyadari dirinya menjadi korban pencurian, Prapti kemudian melapor ke Polsek Gemolong.
“Korban mengalami kerugian total Rp 5,5 juta. Setelah menerima laporan dan memeriksa sejumlah saksi mata, hasil penyelidikan polisi mengarah kepada tersangka. Kemudian, tersangka kami tangkap di rumah istrinya di Dukuh Munggur, Desa Jenalas,” jelas Kapolsek Gemolong AKP I Ketut Putra kepada inspirasiline.com, Selasa (8/6/2021).
Kapolsek AKP I Ketut Putra mengakui, tersangka merupakan pencuri spesialis tas dalam mobil. Modus yang dipakai tersangka adalah dengan memepet mobil yang dikemudikan korban seorang diri.
Tersangka berusaha memperdaya korban dengan berbagai modus seperti minta pertanggungjawaban karena telah menabrak pelaku atau memberitahu bila ban belakang mobil kempes.
Saat korban menghentikan laju mobil dan menengok bagian belakang mobilnya, saat itulah tersangka mengambil tas yang tersimpan di bawah dashboard mobil bagian penumpang. Polisi belum bisa mengungkap berapa jumlah korban dari tersangka.
“Betul, tersangka pencuri spesialis tas dalam mobil. Sekarang masih kami kembangkan penyelidikan,” ungkap AKP I Ketut Putra.***
