Grobogan-Inspirasiline.com. Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Kabupaten Grobogan terus melakukan upaya untuk mengembalikan anak tidak sekolah (ATS) untuk mengikuti pendidikan di sekolah lagi. Hal tersebut dilakukan Disdik Grobogan dengan cara melalui sistem door to door ke rumah siswa.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Sekretaris Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Grobogan, DR. Wahono, MPd kepada media diruang kerjanya, Jumat (29/8/23).
Dijelaskan Sekdin, melalui kegiatan door to door kerumah siswa yang tak sekolah tersebut terbukti sebanyak 113 anak kembali sekolah di PKBM terdekat. Ia menyebut kegiatan tersebut tak hanya tanggungjawab pihaknya saja tetapi harus ditangani secata bersama dengan berbagai pihak.
” Angka 113 itu masih jauh dari harapan, untuk itu penanganannya tak hanya Disdik saja tetapi harus bersama dengan pihak pihak lain juga” ungkapnya.
Ia menjelaskan, jumlah anak tidak sekolah (ATS) di Kabupaten Grobogan berdasarkan data Penanganan Kemiskinan Ekstrim (PKE) berjumlah 898 orang.
“.Itu Data terakhir yang kami terima dari data kemiskinan ekstrim. Itupun mengalami perubahan setelah diverifikasi,” ucapnya.
Wahono menambahkan, selama ini pihaknya menggandeng pusat kegiatan belajar masyarakat (PKBM) untuk mengatasi ATS. Para ATS yang tidak ingin kembali ke sekolah formal disarankan untuk melanjutkan studi ke lembaga non formal.
Sementara itu, Kabid Paud Disdik setempat mengatakan melalui kegiatannlapangan dengan cara door to door yang melibatkan guru Paud setempat diperoleh data anak siswa yang tak mau sekolah sebanyak 428 anak, mereka ingin focus kerja dan menikah.
“Setelah kami lakukan pendataan ke lapangan secara door to door dengan melibatkan guru PAUD yang aktif di desa, mendapatkan hasil, siswa tidak mau sekolah, ingin fokus bekerja, dan yang menikah sebanyak 428 orang,” jelasnya. Mereka beralasan kerja dan telah menjadi tulang punggung ekonomi keluarga, hingga malas untuk sekolah. Dampak Covid-19 terlalu lama juga menjadi alasan mereka tidak sekolah.
“Dari 113 orang yang sebelumnya tidak bersekolah kembali sekolah. sudah kami petakan dan kami serahkan ke Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM),” ucapnya
Wahono menjelaskan, kembalinya mereka untuk sekolah didasari oleh keinginan sendiri serta beberapa ingin memiliki ijazah untuk mencari kerja. (jkwi- Rub)
