Mas Sulis Setiyono, pakar kewirausahaan dan entrepreneur mengatakan, jika wirausaha dilakukan sejak dini, tingkat keberhasilan bisa mencapai 70 persen.
“Masa muda itu penuh semangat dan banyak mimpi. Bila passion tersebut diwujudkan menjadi sebuah usaha, dipastikan akan berhasil. Jadi segera lakukan, do it, wujudkan usahamu sesegera mungkin. Karena usaha yang dilakukan sejak masa muda, tingkat keberhasilannya bisa mencapai 70 persen,” tegas Sulis, dalam webinar yang digelar Program Studi Bahasa Inggris Univet Bantara Sukoharjo, Senin (21/9/2020).
Dosen Kewirausahaan Univet Bantara ini mengungkapkan, secara berkala ada penyelenggaraan ekspo wirausaha untuk mahasiswa Univet, sebagai praktik dari Mata Kuliah Kewirausahaan. “Karena masa pandemi, ekspo ditiadakan, namun rencananya akan dilakukan secara daring,” ujarnya.
Webinar bertema “Menumbuhkan Jiwa Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa di Masa Pandemi Covid-19” ini bertujuan menularkan semangat wirausaha pada mahasiswa.
“Tema ini cukup berhasil, terbukti banyak kaum muda yang ikut dalam webinar ini. Tercatat ada 159 peserta dari 23 sekolah, universitas, dan instansi. Bahkan ada peserta siswa SMP,” kata Ketua Prodi Bahasa Inggris Univet Bantara Purwanti Indri Astuti.
Ketua Panitia Ratih Wijaya menyebutkan, pemilihan narasumber juga menjadi ssalah satu daya tarik peserta. Selain Mas Sulis Setyono, yang pakar entrepreneur, juga menghadirkan Dyah Ratna Heryati, owner Kopi Lawe dan ZAS Holiday.
“Narasumber merupakan praktisi sukses. Jadi tidak sekadar teori, peserta akan diajarkan memulai usaha dari nol, teknik pemasaran, pengelolaan manajemen, dan konsistensi usaha,” tutur Ratih.
Melalui webinar ini, diharapkan akan semakin banyak wirausahawan muda yang berkarya dan survive dalam perekonomian di masa pandemi.***
