Ketua Gugus Tugas Covid-19 Kota Tegal ini mengungkapkan, peningkatan kasus Covid-19 di Kota Tegal sudah luar biasa. Sampai hari ini, Jumat (25/9/2020) sudah tercatat 140 warga yang positif. Oleh sebab itu, dia minta kepada semua warga supaya patuh terhadap protokoler kesehatan yang sudah ditentukan pemerintah.
Terrkait pembagian beras yang disalurkan kepada warga, Jumadi mengakui, kualitas berasnya cukup bagus.
“Kalau berasnya nggak enak atau apek, silakan ibu-ibu bisa melapor. Saya tegaskan kepada Bulog agar beras yang disalurkan jangan sampai mengecewakan masyarakat,” ujar Jumadi.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Kepala Dinas Sosial Kota Tegal Bajari mengungkapkan, jumlah penerima beras sebanyak 7.402 PKH, yang tinggal di wilayah Kelurahan Slerok dan Mangkukusuman.
Wakil Wali Kota Tegal Jumadi yang juga didampingi Camat Tegal Timur Jaenal Ali Mukti dan Lurah Mangkukusuman Untung, mengaku sempat mencicipi nasi dari beras jenis medium yang dibagikan pada warga. Masing masing warga menerima 15 kg setiap bulan, selama Agustus-Oktober.***
